Description

The space

Beautiful, large, airy room in vibrant house and neighborhood!

This historic home is on a lovely tree lined street half a block from restaurants, bars and the Brooklyn Flea. There is easy access via a variety of subways to Manhattan.

The house itself is 3 floors. The house is an historic Brooklyn turn of the century brownstone.
The first floor is the kitchen and living space with access to our back deck and yard. The great advantage to this floor is that it has no bedrooms, so you can come and go with whatever schedule you need and not bother anyone sleeping.
We have a large living room with couches and TV with premium cable, Netflix and Hulu. The kitchen has an 8 seater table to entertain at and a fully stocked kitchen for the avid cook! This floor also has a washer and dryer.

Upstairs 1 floor is the bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The top floor has 2 bedrooms. The bedroom for this listing has an air conditioner, TV with Netflix and Hulu plus premium cable and 2 large windows. The bed is a very comfy queen size.

Living in the house are 3 guys, 1 girl (this is the girls room) and 2 kitties. This is a peaceful and relaxed house that can be a great base for a fun trip to NYC, whatever your reasons.

Guest access

I'm a British playwright and actor living here in beautiful Brooklyn. I live in an amazing house with great room mates. Sometimes we travel or have space for someone else to come and stay so you'll find one of our rooms listed here. We love meeting guests from all over the world and welcoming them into our home.

The other 3 housemates (2 guys, 1 girl) work in the theatre design. Work takes all of us all over the world and we're all grateful for the opportunity to travel and explore new places.

I recently took over the managing of the house Airbnb account from my housemate Dans - which hopefully should explain any confusion you might have about the name in the reviews!
