Judy's apartment is a great place to stay to commute into the city. She was kind and welcoming.
I absolutely loved staying at Judy's, it felt like home. The room is a good size and the house has everything you need. It is 5 min walking from the Metro (direct line to down town) surrounded by 100 restaurants or places where to eat. And Judy is just great! She is always available if you need her but she gives your space and privacy. We had some lovely chat about US, Germany and all the places that she visited. She gave me a lot of tips getting around in DC! It was a great pleasure to meet her and stay in her apartment.
Vielen Dank für die herzliche Aufnahme. ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war ausreichend Platz und Judy ist eine wundbare Gastgeberin.
Judy was very accommodating and helpful. My stay with a friend at a hotel afterwards was a serious letdown compared to staying at Judy's.
I had a wonderful stay at Judy's and wish to thank her for her hospitality, warmth, and generosity. She's a great person - very attentive to the needs of her guests, going the extra mile for me on more than one occasion. We also had a lot of really nice conversations which I enjoyed thoroughly. The location of her place is excellent, close to the Red Line on the Metro and all sorts of eateries and shopping places in Bethesda. The Red Line will take you to Dupont Circle in DC in 20 min. So though the place is technically in MD, it really does not feel like it at all.
About the Host, Judy
I moved to the DC area in the fall of 2008 from Los Angeles where I had lived for 10 years. Before moving to LA, I lived in Hamburg, Germany for 30 years, where my daughter was born and raised. I have hosted guests for many years from countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Czech Rep., France, Martinique,Italy, India and the USA! I look forward sharing my home with you, too. I enjoy music, film and reading. I love Bethesda for its flair and DC for all of the great galleries, historical sites, theaters and museums.
