Davide nous a toujours répondu rapidement et son père nous a bien accueilli.
All of the reviews are pretty accurate. We had a little confusion connecting at the apartment (mostly my fault for not reading David's directions correctly) but it was all solved in less than 30 minutes. The building is old and under renovation, but the apartment is a jewel. The pictures don't do it justice. David's father was there to meet us and was so helpful. He showed us where we could park our car about a 15 minute walk away. The cost was about 13 Euro per day. There are 60 steps to reach the apartment, but if that is too much don't plan on hiking in Cinque Terre. Five of us stayed in the apartment, there were lots of towels, pillows, bedding and we never ran out of hot water (important since we were hiking all day). The internet only worked in the living room, but you are in such a beautiful part of the world that you shouldn't want to spend your day on line. The location is located close to markets, the train station and lots of restaurants. David was always available via phone or email if we had any questions. If you are traveling in a group and plan to explore the Cinque Terre region, this is a great place to stay.
Caro Davide, grazie for the very pleasant stay in your appartement in La Spezia.
The appartement is not only comfortable enough for 4 people (2 couples or a family), well equiped and clean, it is also very conveniently located, calm in the night and close to good restaurants, coffee bars, farinata-shop, market, train- and bus-station, harbour etc., all within short walking distance!
On our arrival, your father was really friendly and showed us fast and simply everything we had to know.
There is no negative point, we could mention and we can fully recommend your place for all visitors, as La Spezia is an excellent place from where it's easy to discover the faboulous Cinque Terre by train and boat, as well as other highlights, such as Portovenere or Pisa. Hope you will have many guests.
The apartment is nice and had everything we needed for our stay. We were a group of four adults and slept very comfortably here. A few small markets are on the same street as the apartment as well as some really great shopping. The building looks to be undergoing a renovation but there was never any construction noise. La Spezia is a cute town on a bay and provides easy access to Cinque Terre. The apartment is up about 4 flights of stairs (2.5 stories up) in the building and is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The wifi was a little spotty but worked for us.
The location is perfect, really central and easy to reach even by car. It was rather nosiy though during the nights and early mornings, so bring earplugs. The apartment is rather well equipped although some more kitchen items would be helpful for cooking. The flat is actually bigger than it looks on the photos and there's enough space for three at least. It was clean and tidy. Communication with Davide was easy.
The address was a bit hard to find as the numbers on the street have a weird logic so make sure to get a proper description beforehand. Or ask people on the street.
The apartment was great. Perfect location and lots of space for us spread out. The apartment was very clean, centrally located and conveniently located near the train staton. Davide's father was there to welcome us and help us with our bags.
We did not have a chance to meet Davide, just his dad who was welcoming. The apartment was clean and provide dad neccesities such as towels, soap, and a few cooking ingredients. We could not get the dishwasher to work but that may have been a user error. The only complaint I had was the Wifi signal strength, which would barely work in the bedrooms and was quite slow to even work. Other than that had a great time! Great location. Thank you.

I am an italian guy into architecture, design, art, vintage and...animal most of all. My 2 dogs are the children I don't have. I have never liked "total Ikea" and "grandmother's apartment" that so often I see on holiday apartments market. I would like like to offer something different to my guests; some of my apartments are basic and easy, some other are much luxurious, but all of them have an own personality, that probably cannot be found in a common hotel.
I really would like to have respectful guests, easy going, smart enough to understand that communication and flexibility are important in our relationship and that perfection in everything can be found at Hilton (maybe) ;)
In any case, even if you will stay somewhere else, enjoy Rome and don't forget to visit some other wonderful place in Italy!
