My girlfriend and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in Davide's apartment. What a cozy place to stay, apartment was very clean and beds were comfy. It's location within la spezia is what's truly wonderful about it. I recommended going with this host and taking advantage of his cozy apartment! Cheers.
We enjoyed our stay in La Spezia, using this place as the jumping off point to see the Cinque Terre National Park. It is only a 10-15 minute walk down the main shopping street from the train station to get to this villa. The apartment is up a few flights of stairs, but if you're there to hike the Cinque Terre, it's just a warm up! The beds were very comfortable, and the accomodations had everything we needed for two days. There is a nice grocery store a couple of blocks away, and lots of restaurants along the way to this flat. Davide was very patient with us because we were not exactly sure of our arrival time, and we appreciated that. The Wi-fi also worked well. The street got a little bit noisy at night on Thursday night, but the windows are very solid, and when they were closed you could hardly hear a thing. Highly recommend staying here!
Sketchy building, but the inside was awesome. Me and 5 of my friends all managed to squeeze in and had the time of our lives in Cinque Terre. We were disapointed to miss out on the boat ride, but we didn't have the time.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a spot to stay to see the 5 lands!
The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and clean, very good location (near the old town and the harbor), contact with Davide perfect. I recommend!
Davide's apartment was a fantastic venue for us. Not only is it very safe, clean, modern, and wifi-equipped, it is also convenient, located near the train station to go to Cinque Terre. It is also mere steps away from many shops.
Davide was a great host, providing us with a plethora of information regarding the city as well as guiding us to a place where we could park our car for free.
I would recommend his place to anyone who plans to visit Cinque Terre/La Spezia and would surely stay there again if the opportunity emerges.
Apartment was very clean and matched the description and photos exactly. Davide's Dad met us and checked us in without any issues. Davide followed up with a message later to check everything is ok. Communication was easy and fast with Davide both during and leading up to our stay. Apartment in a main and safe area of La Spezia. The only downfall was that there were no lifts and it was an exhausting climb up to the 4th floor with our luggage, but so far most of our experiences has been similar throughout Europe. Recommended for couples, friends and families.
We enjoyed our stay at Davide's place. It's in an excellent location and has all you need close by. The train station is within walking distance for an easy visit to Cinque Terre. Plenty of restaurants, cafe's, and bars in the area. The kitchen is well outfitted and perfect for having some meals at home. The linens and towels are are clean and plentiful.
Davide was great at communicating. We didn't get to meet him, but he was readily available by phone for our arrival. Although the washing machine was broken, he offered to have his father take our laundry to get it done.
We would stay here again for sure.
Davide and his father are great hosts! They arranged all we needed during our stay in la spezia. Including a parking spot.
The apartment is located in a pedestrian street in the heart of the historical center. The building looks a little creepy from outside, but once you get into the apartment that impression is gone!
Well equipped kitchen, great beds and a comfortable bathroom makes this well located apartment a great choice if you want to visit the villas of cinque terre.
You can do so by train or by boat - both within a walking distance!
I DO recommend!
Very nice apartment. Good location.
Our family with 3 young children stayed at Davide's apartment for 3 days as a base for visiting Cinque Terre and Lucca. The train trip to Cinque Terre was easily managed with a short walk to the train station and 10-15 minutes on the train. We drove to Lucca about an hour away. Davide's father met us and assisted with parking outside the limited parking area. There is 2 hour paid parking right behind the apartment which we also used at times. The apartment was well equipped for all our needs.
