Hi! As a couple, we feel most connected to one another when we're in nature visiting one of our country's 63 national parks. (So far we've visited 41, and it's on our bucket list to explore them all!)
Whether you're a national park junkie or haven't visited a single one, we've created "Park Place" in hopes that it will bring you, our guests, lasting memories and true connection while you're here.

🛡️ SECURITY: There is a Ring video doorbell camera on the front door & 2 outdoor security cameras that are not actively monitored.
***HOUSE RULES***
1. NO SMOKING OR VAPING. You must be at least 25 ft away from the home and please dispose of all trash. We will impose an additional charge if our cleaning staff smells smoke after your stay.
2. NO EVENTS, GATHERINGS, OR PARTIES. No outside guests are allowed on the property without the permission of the hosts. We reserve this space for our confirmed, overnight guests.
3. Quiet hours after 10pm so that we can be good neighbors.
4. Please FOLLOW CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS in the Guest Manual before departing.
5. SHOES OFF the carpet, sofas & rugs so that we may keep the house in top condition.

Daniel's Hill is a beautiful, historic neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Lynchburg's shops, restaurants, and events. At the end of the street is an entrance to the Blackwater Creek Trail system, which provides guests miles of paved (and unpaved) walking, hiking, & bike trails.
In our neighborhood, you'll find some brick-paved roads flanked with historic lamp posts, a bustling community center with a fenced-in park and playground, sidewalks in both directions, and architecturally impressive homes built from the 1820's to the early 1900's.
The people in our neighborhood are just as beautiful and diverse as the houses themselves, ranging from residents who have lived in the neighborhood for 50+ years and others who are new to Lynchburg. On our block, you'll see families with young children, elderly folks, and some college students. It's a "front porch" neighborhood where everyone knows everyone and they watch out for one another.

Hi! We're William & Kristina, and we love experiencing new places, especially national parks! We feel the most connected when we're together in nature. We have loved exploring Lynchburg (a city that has changed a lot since William's childhood here) and watching it grow and evolve. We hope you enjoy our historic property!
