Welcome to our newly finished loft space in the barn! This cozy and quiet retreat awaits you, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Access is available through a private door located on the side of the barn, which leads directly into our charming greenhouse. From there, a staircase will take you up to the inviting Cozy, Quiet Loft.
The space
The location is perfect for various activities, being just 3 miles away from the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, and a short 11-mile drive to the renowned Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. If you're looking to explore the vibrant city life, Iowa City has a lot to offer and is easily accessible from our tranquil barn loft.
Our barn is also conveniently located just a few miles away from three local wedding venues, making it an ideal spot for a night away or a place to get ready for the big celebration. Wedding parties will find this space perfect for spending the night or preparing for the special day. With 20 acres of beautiful timber and nature surrounding the property, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Feel free to take a leisurely walk through the trails or capture beautiful pictures amidst the natural beauty.
As for the loft itself, you'll be delighted by its brand new design. The floorplan is uniquely open and bright, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It features two bedrooms, ensuring ample space for your group. The dining area includes a futon, and there's plenty of room for air mattresses if needed, accommodating additional guests upon approval from the host.
The massive family, dining, and kitchen area is the heart of the loft, providing a perfect space for gatherings and relaxation. Step outside to the oversized porch and enjoy the serene surroundings. For those who love grilling, we have a grill and smoker available on-site, adding a delightful touch to your culinary adventures.
Our loft also boasts modern amenities to enhance your stay. Stay entertained with a large TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Additionally, we have a washer and dryer for your convenience, so you can pack light and feel at home throughout your visit.
With plenty of parking spaces on the property, you won't have to worry about finding a spot for your vehicle. We only allow 6 vehicles unless approved prior.

The Main Level of The Barn will remain Private! But feel free to come down and visit if we are ever around!
Other things to note
The Barn is located on our property where we live. It is a distance away, you can see through the Trees. Monday-Friday, we run our business out of the lean-to on the side of the barn, so if you ever need anything, please feel free to go into the office, and we will help with whatever we can! On weekends and some nights, we do use the main floor of the barn for personal use, but we will be sure to stay out of your way and give you the privacy that is needed!
We do not allow parties of any sort unless approved prior to arrival. We will allow small gatherings with an additional cost. We can not approve large parties at any cost.
