Marcos Rooms are two big restored traditional houses with cheerful yards and big terraces. Old captain houses originally built in 1880.They are located above of the small port of Amoudi in the west central part of Oia next to the sunset. A warm interior welcomes you with its own unique personality. Tastefully furnished and artistically appointed, the decor reflects the style of Santorini.
They have rooms with two , three and four beds (for groups) with many facilities (bathroom , fridge e.t.c). From its terraces you can watch the unique sunset of Oia and the blue of the Aegean.
The prices are very reasonable compared to the other renting rooms of the area and they start from 15 euros per person. The friendly, relaxing atmosphere and traditional accommodation that you find at Marcos Rooms and our 15 years of experience ensures a pleasant and unforgettable stay.
The prices depend on the season and the availability.

I was only there for a night with my brother, but Panos' mom was an EXCELLENT host. Offered us tea, coffee, breakfast whenever she could and was very helpful on where to go. You could not ask for a better location. Thank you so much.
The location is perfect! Close to all the shops and restaurants. The host is really nice.
Oia is a very picturesque village in Santorini. While you do not need more than a day to cover the village, there are some island trips that you should take a day to do. it is convenient to do a lot of boat trips from Oia and from "Marcos Rooms" specifically because it is on the side of the village closer to the port. But be prepared for a climb back up to the village from the port! Also a note, make sure to have cash with you at all times, very few places accept cash.
Panos' mother who hosted us was very kind. When we first arrived, she welcomed us with a glass of juice/coffee and oriented us to the place. She was also very helpful to us when we were in a difficult situation regarding our travel plans. We missed a ferry due to a timing misunderstanding and she helped us to figure out our new plans. She was hospitable and the room was nice although the bed my daughter slept on was a bit uncomfortable because the springs were sticking out of the bed. Not the best mattress, but doable for a night or two. The only other complaint we had was a leak in the floor of our room near the bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal and I'm sure it isn't the case for every room.
It is an old house, but clean and well kept. Panos' mother works hard to keep it well-maintained. There is also a very nice breakfast included in the stay and the sunset view is beautiful from the roof of the house. Worth the money overall.
If you have any questions or concerns about logistics during your stay, do consult the host, she knows a lot about timings of buses and other things on the island. We definitely recommend a stay here, it is probably the best price you will find in Oia and of course a pleasant experience as well.
Thank you for a nice stay in Santorini!
We spent 4 nights at this b&b in Oia in August 2013.
Perfect location in Oia, close to everything. The view of the sunset from the rooftop terrace is beautiful and away from the crowds!
The hosts are friendly and greeted us with fresh OJ and gave us recommendations on things to do in Oia. We highly recommend going swimming at Amoudi Bay (which was one of their suggestions)! They also let us choose which room we wanted out of 3 rooms on arrival. We chose a room on the upstairs terrace that was small with an ensuite, cute and had a lovely view. On our 4th night (last night) we were asked by the host to change rooms to one of the inside rooms (that looked like a single room, was small, had a bad smell and I don't think it was what we paid for, this room didn't have an ensuite, bathroom was outside). They wanted to give our room to a couple only staying 1 night that were arriving in the evening. We moved as we felt we had to, but this was really annoying for us.
Also, the shower for both rooms was never hot, only cold or slightly luke warm. The internet only worked in the reception area (not in the rooms at all) and was pretty weak.
I really enjoyed my stay at Marcos Rooms. The host was so sweet and very helpful.
The room was small but you don't go in Oia to stay in your room !!! The bathroom is located outside and is clean. A generous breakfast is served on the terrace every morning.
Close to sunset view of Oia and all restaurants, this traditional house was in a quiet street however. I will stay there next time I'll go to Santorini !
Great value for money, the best location in Oia, gentle and pleasant hosts,...but pay attention, the rooms are also nice and comfortable, but the is not for people seeking for cleaness...
Clean breezy room in an old Greek house. Bathrooms in a separate building structure across a path. Great view of sunset from upper terrace. Very nice and helpful proprietors.
My sister, mother and I had a lovely time here! We were in a great location in Oia and it was very easy to get around to other parts of Santorini. Restaurants and plenty of shops were also in close proximity which made for an exciting stay. Even better, we were a couple of steps away to the location where one of the best sunsets in the world can be seen. Clean rooms and great hosts! Thank you!
Panos is the son of the wonderful couple that runs "Marcos Rooms". They are very friendly and charming. And they will take care of your every need. But really, you will probably be mesmerized by the immense beauty of the village Oia. It is divine. And you won't believe your eyes, when the sun decides to end the day with view, you will never forget. From the terrace of Marcos Rooms, you can enjoy the sunset for yourself, away from the crowds.
If you decide to visit Santorini, do not hesitate to stay here. The place is peaceful, and extremely well located.
I enjoyed my stay at Marcos Rooms. It is located very close to famous sunset view of Santotirini. The hosts, a very nice Greek couple, were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was served. The wifi connection was not consistent, but shouldn't be a big deal for those on holiday. Wifi is available in most restaurants. I liked the traditional style of the houses and rooms. I would stay here again.
