The Manor Michelet is a B&B in an old town Manor from 15th century, located at Nogent-le-Rotrou ("Perche" aera, in France). I am reestablishing this residence with passion for about 10 years now. In may 2011, I opened my first guest room.
The spacious 40 m² guest room is located in the Manor's old kitchen. The fireplace, the salt nest and the stone sink exist since the Manor was made.
The room is equiped with a 160 cm wide bed. Another bed can be added if you so desire.
The bathroom possesses an old marble like painted bathtub and a large italian shower.
The breakfast is served in the lower 80m² living room called the lower room, or in the courtyard in summer.
The Manor was built at the end of the 15th century for a rich family of steel merchants : the Michelets. In 1789, during the french revolution, the Manor became the police station of Nogent-le-Rotrou. In 1822, Louis Arsène Meunier, school teacher, set up his boarding school in the lower room. The story goes on...
