A tangerine tree in the garden gives the name to this flat. It is a two-room home of about 35sqm which was totally restored in 2010 and which was once part of our nearby home.
You only have to go down a few steps of a staircase from Via Cervino to enter the flat. That staircase leads to the road below: by walking along that road you will get to “Piazza Gramsci”, which is only about 50 mt from the promenade. It will take you just 5 minutes to get there.
Once you go through the entrance gate, you will find yourselves in the small fenced garden which is next to our garden. There is a table and a sun umbrella in the garden so that you can have your meals in the open air if you want, looking at the nice view of the sea.
There is a living room with a cooking area and a queen size sofa bed. From the living room a little corridor will take you to the bedroom, which has a king size bed and a single bed.
From the corridor you can also have access to the bathroom with a shower (with a curtain). It is a small bathroom, therefore it has a sliding door and it is very functional.
The flat is suitable for a couple or a couple with max 2 children.
The flat has also mosquito nets, a TV with international channels, american coffee machine, a washing machine and a shower in the garden, to take the sand off of yourselves and refresh once you get back from the beach.
Only small dogs are admitted, and they should remain outside.
The flat is on the hill of Castiglione della Pescaia, in a quiet residential area for families (Poggio alle Trincee) near the Medieval castle and village, a very romantic and characteristic spot.
There are 2 supermarkets in Castiglione (COOP and Eurospin), both 2 min driving from the apartment; however in the centre there are some nice grocers where you'll find excellent local products. The apartament is not provided with an internet connection, but there are 2 coffee bars with WI-FI ("Bar Ciro" in Piazza Gramsci and "Bar Skipper" along the promenade).
Have a (email hidden) I'm writing (it is still a work in progress...)!
If you want, we can provide you sheets and towels: 10€ per person per week.
The cleaning is 40 € (one service on the arrival and antoher on the departure).
The minimum stay is 1 week, from Saturday to Saturday. In general the check in is from 2 pm and the check out is by 11 am, but, if possible, we can arrange otherwise if you have some specific needs.
The price is:
700 €/week in high season (July and August)
550€/week in mid season (the second fortnight of June and the first fortnight of September);
450€/week in low season (April, May, the first fortnight of June and the second fortnight of September).
Airbnb will block a security deposit of 150€ on your credit card or bank account, and will "unblock" it 48 hours after your check out if we do not find any damage in the apartment - we would obviously keep only the necessary amount to fix the damage, not the entire security deposit.
We kindly ask you to book at least one week before the arrival, so that we can host you in the best way possible. Anyway we will do our best also with a shorter notice!
Only small dogs are admitted. The guests will throw the rubbish and do the dishes before leaving. Smoking allowed only in the outside!
Thank you Lyza! We spend a wonderful time in Castiglione. The apartment was very cosy and clean. Aida was a very good, lovely and funny host and we have got many advices and informations. I will for sure come back!!!!
We are still under impression from our stay in Castiglione not only because it is a magnificent place but also because we felt like we were living at our friends or family. In two words: it could not be better. Lyza's parents did all to accommodate all our needs and they went an extra mile so that we (all 3 of us incl. 7 month old bambino) enjoyed our stay. The apartment is located between castle and the beach, one minute in either direction. The garden, the terrase, the view.... all is perfect. The apartment is very clean and provides enough roam for the family of 3. We were greeted and welcomed in a very warm manner despite our delayed (too much traffic in Rome) arrival with traditional dolce.
Mycket bra och trevligt boende. Lugnt och fint område.
Thanks to Lyza and her parents. The appartment is very nice, clean, quiet, perfect location (5 minutes walking to beach, 10 minutes to center). It's a good choice for sea vacation for family or couple. I recomend it for staying at Castiglione della Pescaia.
I really can recommend Lyza and her apartment for everyone! It was a nice place in a very convenient location, and everything was organized so well! Lyza had left there recommendations on restaurants etc, a city map and pretty much everything we needed for a nice stay. The Appartment was very clean, well equipped and maintained. We really had a great trip, thank you very much Lyza! We will come back!

About the Host, Lyza E Aida
Hi! My name is Lyza, I am student in Engineering and Architecture, interested in anything eco and social conscious. I love chocolate, pizza and Chopin.
You might often be welcomed by my parents, my mom Aida and my dad Alberto, because I am studying at the University of Pisa and I am in Pisa most of the time.
We'll make our best to host you and give you some advice on how to live in Siena or Castiglione della Pescaia, where to go, how to get around, what to see, where to eat truly tipical Tuscan food.
