P.S. I'm not going to be in apartment for this time, cos i moved to Boston. My roommate Max will take care of you.
My sister and I stayed here for ten days.
SO MUCH FUN! Max was welcoming and a great
person to be around. Getting to and from the city was a bit of a commute, but if you don't mind spending the extra 20 minutes it was a great
deal. Heater was always on at night, it was COLD outside!
Absolutely recommend, willing to come back if I ever find myself headed back east again.
Roma and Max are amazing host. The room was cleaned and they were super helpful. I totally recommend them.
the room was really nice and clean. max and daniel were really friendly. the bus station is in front of the house and it was so easy to drive to the city. maybe it wasn't the cleanest bathroom and kitchen, but remeber: you'll get what you pay!! so whatever, i would choose this room again if i plan to come back to ny :-)
I was staying for about 1 1/2 months at Roman's place and it was a great experience. The boys are great (Max and Daniel), although sometimes a little crazy. I even had the pleasure to meet Roman and he was cooking for all of us - and we were cooking almost every day.
The place itself is ok, but do not expect to get to a palace. The Bergen Line bus stops right in front of the house and gets you to Journal Square for a $1,50 within 10-15 minutes. There is a small grocery store right next door, a laundry store and a liquor store are both about a couple of blocks away.
So basically if you don't mind to hang out with crazy people, this is the place to be. Max and Daniel can also give you information on downtown Jersey City for bars and other things.
I can highly recommend this place for all people who want to have fun in Jersey City.
The guys there where funny and helpful.
The room was clean & cozy, the rest of the flat was a bit messy.
What concerns our stay we actually weren´t satisfied at all... The room was ok but the flat in general was pretty messy and kind of smelly. Bathroom was dirty and weren´t cleaned once while our stay (almolst two weeks). The shower curtain was undoubtedly THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I´ve ever seen... Totally mouldy...yuck! The last two days of our stay there was MEN´S DIRTY UNDERWEAR lying on the bathroom´s floor - WTF???
Guys living there were nice and friendly, but loud as hell. Loud music and movies till 2am (maybe longer), loud chating and cooking at midnight were an everyday occurence. When you fly from Europe, being up like for 24 hours, feeling jet-laged and so on you really want to sleep. My experience? Totally no respect from the side of (email hidden)cause of the loud music I fall asleep like 3am.
Connection to Manhattan was fine and necessary - there is not much to do in the surroundings. Choose this flat only if you plan to stay all day out in NY just need a place where to sleep. Oh and by the way, the room doesn´t look like the one on the photos.
Definitely choosing some place else to stay for the next time...
I didn't meet Roma him self, but his roommates(Max & Paul) where really nice and supportive people. The room was artistic and cozy. Bus stop was just few meters from the house.
We enjoyed our Stay very much and had a lot of fun.The room was clean and fine and both roommates were awesome. They had Time to Show us Jersey and were really Friendly. We felt at home and would recommend it!
Roma was very nice and helpful. He told us about nice things in NYC. Unfortunately the apartment wasn't very clean and there was a weird smell in the shared areas. The room wasn't any better. No sheets in the bed and after first night we noticed bugs in the room. We weren't happy at all so we left from the apartment after the first night.
Roma is a very Nice hote, he's helpful, cheerful, funny, beautiful, open-minded.
His room is big and clean, it feels good home.
There are various stores, restaurant on Bergen avenue.
I enjoyed the part of the district.
I thank Roma for making me discover a beautiful place by bike (the view of NYC at night from rating Jersay city).
I suggest you rent this room , you Will definitely not disappointed.
You Must know That you are 25 min from NYC With take train PATH at Journal Square and not far from the factories to stores for bargains (outlette) ( take de bus number 2 from Secausus at Journal Square), yo do good business.
Good stay at Roma and at New York....
