The personal chef service can be the best way to approach Italian culture that lays its roots on food.
It could be ideal for a welcome dinner or for the farewell dinner
The service includes the procurement of ingredients, the cooking and bottles of wine.
Every menu can be personalized.
The cost can vary depending mainly on the number of people and from the menu itself.

  • Mauro is an excellent host, help us with basic tips to enjoy our trip - restaurants, supermarket, maps. The apartment is centrally located, very clean and fits 4 persons with some comfort. Thanks Mauro

  • Very helpful hosts!! Apartment had everything you could need . Good location about 10 min walk to sights and easily accessible to train station from bus right around corner. We did eat a few o the restaurants they suggested and had nice meals. Only negative was it was on a busy street and noisy when windows were open. The charge for utilities were minimal- 9 euro for us for the week but we didn't need the ac or heat. Bed was a bit soft for our liking Bottle of wine and basket of fruit was waiting on table for our arrival. A nice touch. Thx.

  • Marianne and I have just returned from Florence, after spending five days in Mauro's sweet and comfortable apartment. Ok, it isn't a luxury apartment overlooking the river and the Duomo, but it is relatively quiet, comfortable and conveniently situated – about 20 - 30 minutes walk from the main attractions or just round the corner from several bus options. Mauro and his wife are great hosts – there was a punctual, friendly welcome, fruit in the bowl, a bottle of wine, and some helpful hints as to good places to eat. We'd happily go back, and hopefully we will.

  • We've loved cute flat, convenient and safe location especially if you are with the car, home-like atmosphere, great hospitality. Plus well-working facilities, wi-fi, great old-school music centre, all! We'll definitely be back if come to Florence again.

small note - the douche cabin is quite small and dated

  • Mauro was very nice to talk to the landlord. It was a pleasure staying with him. At the meeting gave fruits and wine. Shown on the map the necessary shops and attractions. Helped to call a taxi on the way back. Highly recommend his apartment. You will be satisfied.

  • Mauros apartment was great- clean and tidy and about a 20 minute walk from all the main sights.. A handy supermarket is just down the street. We hope to return in the future!!

  • Mauro's flat was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals which we did on a few occasions. The flat was very clean and our bed was big and comfy. The bus number 17 runs very close to the flat providing easy access to the main attractions which, by he way, are quite close together in Florence. The supermarket is close by with all you will need for breakfast and a nice selection of cheap but good wines. There is also a very nice little restaurant about 200 meters down the hill which serves delicious Italian food at a reasonable price (Try the seafood spaghetti, you won't be disappointed!) Mauro and Veronica were charming hosts and we hope to stay at their flat again in the future.

  • The apartment was lovely and clean. It's proximity to the centre was good (about 10 minutes walk). Mauro was always prompt in responding to emails which was much appreciated. His father greeted us at the apartment when we arrived and was extremely helpful, with very good English and a delightful manner. In the apartment we were welcomed with a bottle of Chianti and some fruit - delicious! My husband and I would happily recommend Mauro's apartment to others.
