The Red Velvet Inn & Gallery is a 130 year old historic Victorian home built by Charles W. Stewart, son of Charles B. Stewart, signor of the Texas Declaration of Independence and designer of our Texas State Flag. In 2012 the home was completely remodeled & in 2022 a fine art gallery was added. Breakfast is included and we invite you to join us for our social hour at 6PM each evening in the Parlor. We also offer drop off & pick up to our historic downtown shopping via our stretch golf cart.

I love being a Host and creating a unique atmosphere for our guests as well as preparing and serving breakfast! (Be sure to let me know of any dietary restrictions when booking.) I recently retired as a Hospice RN and now enjoy creating new original oil and acrylic works for our on-site art gallery. We have much to offer in Navasota especially in our historic downtown railroad district. If it’s shopping, dining, art or history you are in search of, look no further!
