Interaction with Guests
I am pretty open with my guests, and i also like to give you your privacy and personal space. I am not around a lot and you may not even see me while you are in my house. I will interact with you if you interact with me otherwise i will leave you to be at your own space and time.
I love my neighborhood, it's quiet and tranquil. On the weekends is even better since the few companies around don't open or work on the weekends. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area, farmers market on Sundays and shoreline park for fun outdoors.
Public transportation is not the best here. I am very close to the call train and buses but there are not many buses in the area. I strongly recommend you getting a car while here or you can use my bike to get around.
NO SMOKING AND NO SHOES INSIDE THE HOUSE.

Sylvia was lovely as a host, and went the extra mile -- it had been unseasonably hot while I was there, and Sylvia drove out of her way at 10:00 at night to buy a fan for my room.
The place was conveniently located both to a jogging/biking trail as well as to one of the Google campuses. Ideal if that's what brings you to town.
The listing is accurate: 3-bedroom appartment with one shared bathroom (toilet inside).
Two bedrooms are next to the bathroom; the 3rd one (the one I got) is on the other side of the entrance/living room, and is the access to the garage [which is the laundry room] which can be slightly bothersome if you're sleeping and the others want to go to the laundry.
It was very quiet; clean; cosy. The bed was very good!
The kitchen was complete; though I didn't use it.
During my stay, there were two (nice) guys from Argentina who were staying for a few months; they occupied the first two rooms.
I'd recommend this to anyone who either likes to see some other people, or doesn't mind the shared bathroom -- given all that, it's a really great place to stay!!!
This was my second time staying with Silvia. Both times has always been comfortable and peaceful, especially as one who is working in the nearby area who just wants to walk everyone. Silvia is great with communication and offers a lot of convenience for her guests.
The listing description was accurate and the room comfortable. Parking was very easy and the neighborhood was great. If you get a chance to take a walk or run there is an excellent neighborhood trail. I didn't get to meet Silvia as I was working long hours. However, it was easy to get in and out of the house and Silvia left me a nice note as a welcome.
Silvia was very friendly and welcoming. The place is exactly as described, and well decorated with interesting pieces from Silvia's travels.
It was great to relax after a long day of work in the hot tub.
I hope to stay again on a future trip to the valley.

About the Host, Silvia
I am originally from Brazil and been living in the US for over 12 years.
I love to travel, to entertain, to cook, to dance and make new friends. Traveling is my passion and I am always on the move. I do yoga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that keeps me in shape.
I would be happy to let you know all the places to go around my area like restaurants, bars, farmers market, coffee shops, etc
I started to use Airbnb long time ago but just last year i started to host and I just LOVE it. It's been great meeting new people, having lovely and smart conversations with a glass of a good wine.
