Interaction with Guests
I definitely say good morning ..this is not a hotel so it's better if you see it as such !
my neighborhood is super walkable and accessible. I love the murals and latin food. I love culture and beauty--this neighborhood has a ton.
yes. busses, BART train and Muni Train and bike lanes....(did that rhyme?)
Other Things to Note
i'm an artist.
kind guests always welcome. I don't get along well with judgemental types..
Shane is a great host! She's super friendly and welcoming and tells you everything you need to know about staying in the apartment. The room is pretty big with two mirrors, closet/drawer space, and a small desk and chair. I only stayed for two nights so I can't say much, but that I was comfortable and in a great location. With the affordable price I would definitely stay again!
Shani is an awesome host! I never felt unwelcome or uncomfortable staying with her, or her sweet cat. She made room for me in the fridge and pantry, as I was staying with her for an extended period of time. She was very welcoming and flexible. She had tons of cool information to offer up about the city and surrounding areas! I would absolutely stay with her again if I came back to the area.
Shane was friendly, easy to talk with and offered directions and suggestions during my stay! She also printed my boarding pass out for my flight out of San Francisco! Her cat was super sweet!
Shane was really nice. I didn't stay in the house too long, but the neiborhood was great, really quiet but close to some interest things, like the Castro.
The house was OK, the price was good and the host really was cool, and SF is an amazing city!!
Shane was a great host. If she is not there to greet you, no problem at all. Her directions of how to get in are on the point. Room is fulfilling for all your needs (e.g. closet, coat hangers, empty drawers, small writing desk etc). Tourist pamphlets are provided and located in the room. Location is perfect, mass transit is plentiful. Shane was also very approachable, and great person to chat with. She answered all of my necessary questions and I left very satisfied. I will consider renting from Shane again!
Great place with a great person!
Shane is really cool and her flat really nice to stay. I wish i could have been a bit more.
See you soon Shane!
Such a great stay! Shane is super friendly, laid back, non-intrusive, and kind. She and her sweet cat were lovely company during my short weekend trip. The room is spacious with closet space and a window that shines just enough light to not wake you up too early; the garden in the backyard seals the deal for a home-y, San Franciscan experience. Shane also left some useful things in my room(reusable bag, alka seltzer, city recycling tips, etc.) that came in handy. Book if you enjoy a personalized experience that doesn't feel at all sterile.

I love San Francisco and the Mission District in particular. My garden patio and sweet cat make this apartment even more delightful :) I have a creative, laid-back and friendly space! I OFFER AN AFFORDABLE AND SAFE PLACE IN USA'S MOST EXPENSIVE CITY. IT IS NOT GLAMOROUS NO CHROME, LEATHER OR VIEWS HERE. PLEASE NOTE!!!
I'm an activist artist who has lived in the Bay Area for 25 years. I make social justice documentaries and love to play soccer. I lived in Santa Cruz for 15 years and know the whole area quite well.
