Modern studio on the 6th floor of a new building, excellent location on Charcas street, one hundred meters from Santa Fe Avenue, 400 meters from Alto Palermo Shopping Mall. Parking place might be available at an additional cost. Close to restaurants, bars, stores, public transportation and the underground (two hundred meters from Aguero station LINE D). There is plenty of light. It is very quiet and has a big balcony.
LIVING ROOM AREA: Decorated in a modern style. There is a couch, cable TV, DVD player and audio system. There is also a table for four people. Wooden (website hidden) cold/hot. With double glazing for the noise and keeping a good temperature inside the apartment.
BEDROOM AREA: Queen size bed. Big wardrobes. Wooden floor.
KITCHEN: It is completely equipped: fridge, freezer, microwave and kitchen ware for 4 people. BATHROOM: Modern style, bath tub with shower. Hair dryer.
BALCONY: Table with two chairs. The building has 24 hour security, pool, heated jacuzzi and laundry facilities.
Buenos Aires has a large network of buses, locally called "Colectivos". There are 144 lines, each one identified with a number and different colors. The ticket is paid on the bus with coins ONLY.

Check in and check out times are flexible as long as we do not have other guests arriving or leaving on the same day. If that happens, check in will be at 12 or later and check out at 10 AM or earlier.

Apartamento exatamente como nas fotos, bem conservado e organizado. O bairro é ótimo, tem supermercados, shoppings, farmácia e transporte para todos os lados da cidade.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for more than a month. The apartment is quite narrow and long. Overall the experience was positive. Marcos was very pleasant on the day of the checkin and explained everything very patiently. But 2 days into living, we realised that some of the furnitures and fittings were old and attached very loosely attached. We let Marcos know and some of the issues were immediately resolved and others were ignored by telling us that we will not be blamed for them. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were told to leave the dishes on the last day unwashed since they will have someone clean up the house which was a relief for us in between the packing of the last day. The apartment is very centrally located next to shopping centers and close to subways. There was 24 hour security who helped us with various miscellaneous requests we had. The only negative experience with Marcos was when he came in on day of checkout and complained that there were unwashed dishes in the sink when he had told us to leave the last day's dishes unwashed.
Like other reviewers, I ended up in a different apartment in the building. It was nice, very modern, and mostly equipped as shown. The neighborhood was also very nice with lots of convenient shops and nice restaurants nearby and close to public transit. There are a couple of things that I didn't like though. First, when I requested the apartment, Marcos sent a message saying it would be another similar apartment, which I appreciated him clarifying, but he approved the reservation anyway without my input. Second, the "house rules" say you can check-in from 8 am, but he told me 12 pm then later 9 am, meanwhile I was in transit for 21 hours. Third, there was no electric oven as pictured, and it took 2.5 weeks (of a month-long stay) to get one. Finally, there was so much confusion on who I should contact about what that I realized I actually had no idea who the apartment owner was (probably some anonymous property investor) and that made me feel uncomfortable. The apartment on its own was great (4-5 stars, a little noisy and had no oven), but these other issues make my rating lower.
Only in two buildings we can exchange apartments because they are extremely similar and we always warn our guests beforehand unless there is a serious issue at the apartment. We are flexible regarding check in time depending on previous guests check out and cleaning staff schedule. Guests can always contact me through airbnb, I dont know why she said there was a confusion.
We had a lovely stay at Buenos Aires in this apartment building as advertised by Marcos Malvido. Beforehand we had read very positive reviews but also one that said they ended up in a different apartment than they expected. We informed Marcos that we wouldn't mind if that would happen if the apartment was in the same building etc.
The apartment was actually better than the one that was advertised and it really became a "home away from home". The building felt very safe and the pool area was lovely and sunnier than we had expected. The apartment itself was quite spacious and very well equipped. Moreover, there is a super market around the corner where you could buy just about everything you can think of. We had breakfast on the balcony every day and we even decided to stay in for Christmas and cooked our own three-course dinner in the kitchen!
The location is excellent in a relatively quiet part of the Charcas street in Palermo. Many lovely restaurants and other amenities (subway, shops, museums, clubs) are within acceptable walking distance, although late at night we usually preferred taxi's (for European standards they're cheap anyway).
We never met Marcos f2f because it wasn't necessary but he was very helpful via e-mail (for example with making arrangements for transport to/from the airport) so I am sure that he would have been there if we needed him to be.
We absolutely loved the apartment and were actually sad to go home.

My flat was fine. However it was not this one pictured but one on the first floor, just above the street. The laundry room was great, and it was nice to have a pool...but there's only 4 chairs, it's a small area, and the way the building is...the pool doesn't get much sun anyways. Not once - because it was crowded - was i able to enjoy the pool. First come first served, be warned. Good location, which is really why I chose the flat.
Marcos and Juan were very nice, but it was all very confusing as to who the owner was. I thought it was Marcos, but he said NO, he was a manager of many apartments in BA. I met Juan - also very nice - and was told he was the owner, but then discovered form him that he also owned - or was it managed?? - 4 - 6 other flats in the same building. So does he own 6 flats, or is he too a manager??
Why am I saying all this? Because I would rather rent from an owner, someone who owns their own flat and not 10 others or someone who manages 20 other flats.
I think AIRBNB needs to establish some rules and let us all know if an apartment is self-owned or being rented out by some company. I ALWAYS prefer to help out individuals, to give my money to them, and not to some company. I think anyone who has 2 or more apartments in a city is probably a manager and NOT an owner, so we should know that without having to dig and dig into the profiles, etc.
Perhaps those flats managed on AIRBNB by a company should NOT be allowed to have a personal photo. It seems a bit misleading to show a photo of someone implying they're the owner, only to find out they are simply a manager for a big rental company.
I have also sent an email to AIRBNB letting them know my feelings.
Having said that, Marcos and Juan were very nice, and aside from the TV being small I was fine here for my 28 days. Ands always I left the flat spotless and was respectful to everything within the flat.
Karl stayed during the highest season of the year, that's why the pool might have been a bit crowded, especially during weekends. During weekdays there are not more than two or three guests. Regarding ownership, my friend Juan is the owner, I help him especially for language issues. I work on my own so there is not any big rental company managing the apartments.
