  • Great service and apartment. Thank you!

  • Apartment is small, but was well located and fitted the four of us in for a few nights in Boston. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the bathroom looked fairly modern. With a stroller to get up to the fifth floor we were very grateful for the small elevator.

  • This was a fantastic place to stay! I loved having more than just a hotel room with the same or lower rate. It was clean and exactly like the pictures. We had good communication leading up to our stay and a very positive experience overall. The location was perfect, with short walking distance to Copley Square and other attractions. They couldn't accommodate our late checkout, but did store our luggage free at a property a little over a block away.

    Response from Seamless:

Brooke raises a very important issue.

Guests should know that unlike hotels, corporate housing providers do not replenishment f disposable or consumable items during a guest's apartment stay. However, most units will come with starter packs of kitchen and bath products--but guest will need to purchase items for their long term use.

  • Kitty from Seamless Transitions was very professional and helpful. It was great to deal with her again and I would do it again any time.

  • The apartment is centrally located, close to almost everything, building is very modern and the concierge service is really good. The apartment is modern and clean, the bath amenities provided were a good touch .
In this particular apartment, the dining table was wedged between the kitchen counter and the window - quite unusable (does not look like the picture with the listing). Listing says 3 real beds, but the unit really has 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed, with uncomfortable mattress. When renting an apartment, I am used to having some basic pantry items in the kitchen - i.e. salt, pepper, sugar etc. There was a few packs of sugar provided in the package - so we had to run to CVS across to even make a morning coffee/tea.

The listing agent is a professional who deals with many properties, so did everything that was professionally required, but was very hard to deal with otherwise. Any questions above and beyond the listing were not dealt with common courtesy.

Overall fair experience with the unit and poor experience with the host.

    Response from Seamless:

The guest was made aware--On THREE (3 )separate occasions--that there were only 2 Queen beds and a Sleep Sofa. Alka still still chose to rent; but now complains. This is not okay.

There was a starter pack of disposables in the unit upon guest arrival. Unlike hotels, corporate housing providers are not responsible for replenishment of disposable or consumable items during a guest's apartment stay.

As we, at SeamlessTransition, NEVER spoke with the guest by telephone, we are concerned whom she is referencing as the "rental agent/host."

We only communicated via e-mail. However, we believe we gave factual answers to all of Alka's questions over the 2 months leading up to her stay.

We regret that Alka found our service less than satisfactory; but enjoyed the many of the amenities and location of the apartment.

  • We really liked the apartment. Spacious, clean, well-located and very nice overall. Would recommend it highly.

  • This was our first experience with AirBNB and it was great! This apartment was wonderful and in a great location in Boston. In easy walking distance to alot of things and the Chinatown T stop is just down the block.

  • Wonderful apartment. Stayed here with a co-worker for almost four months, and loved the place. Spacious, stocked with every amenity you could want, and a very central location. Highly recommended.

  • Reviewing this property is a bit difficult because the apartment is not actually owned by Kitty Franklin of Seamless Transition. She acts only as an agent. She simply books with a corporate housing company and takes her cut. The apartments in the building come in various styles and you don't get to specifiy which you want. Ms. Franklin was rude each time I interacted with her via email and on the phone and she even went so far as to say that she was "doing me a favor" by charging $1800 for a 3 night stay. Save yourself the hassle and ripoff and book (email hidden). I highly recommend the apartment, but stay far away from Seamless Transition.

The apartment itself (I ended up with the second apartment that you see in the pictures) is nice enough. Small elevator in the lobby. Many small things wrong with the place (holes in dry wall, hot water takes forever to get hot, kitchen light was dangling from the dry wall on the ceiling, etc.) Location is great and there is street, metered parking.
