Lovely room & ensuite. Easy access to river, city centre, train station & woods. I'm a quiet & friendly host, able to share inspirations of my native city. You can use much of the house too but Norwich has so much to offer that you'll want to be out: medieval streets, cathedral, castle, museums, independent shops, old churches & pubs, and rivers. Simple plant-based breakfast. Steep staircase to bedroom that might be tricky for some disabilities.

The space
It’s a double-sized bedroom, upstairs, with its own bathroom off it. There is a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. There is a desk and a choice of chairs to use if you need to work. A large cupboard to store clothes and bags. The bedding and towels are kept in the room so you can change them if you like, or get an extra blanket. A large radiator (and another in the bathroom) means it’s cosy in winter. The house is an Edwardian terrace with two bedrooms and a garden.

Where you’ll be

Norfolk, England, United Kingdom

Wodehouse Street is in the 'Silver triangle' in Norwich Over the Water. Two minutes away is the river Wensum, which offers canoe and boat hire. Five minutes walk is Magdalen Street with many antiques shops, cafes and more, leading you into the City. Fifteen minutes walk takes you to Mousehold Heath - an 88 hectare wood with heathland clearings and views across the city. There's also a small park called Kett's Cave just a minute away. There are cafes, corner shops and pubs dotted all around the area. There are good bus services taking you in and out of the city, and you can walk to the train station along the river in 15-20 minutes.
