  • Thanks to Elena and her hospitality we enjoyed our small vacation in Boston. Elena was a real host, very clear and quick comunication. The muffins, juice and coffee in the morning were a big plus to dtart our busy days. The house is located very close to the T orange line "Comunity College", in Charlestown, where there are some historic sites to walk. The room and the bathroom are in the basement of the house, very clean, private and confortable. There some restaurants, Whole Food, CVS in the neiborhood.

  • My husband and I had a nice stay with Elena. We were visiting family and chose to rent a car. There was no problem with finding street parking on Main after 8 PM but had to leave by 8 AM. The rental area was neat and clean. She showed us how to make coffee. We chose to eat breakfast out as we had to move the car. The Grasshopper Cafe served eggs benedict, yum. The area is quiet.

  • Wow, can't rave enough about our stay at Elena's. Great room, Great location, Great host!!! This room was a wonderful value. Elena was great about communicating EVERY detail we needed to know and made us feel very welcome. My boyfriend and I spent a decent amount of time chatting with Elena and her son and we were sad to go, when our time came to leave! I think the most spectacular part was the size of the room. We literally had our own floor of the house! It was very roomy, comfortable and clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Elena!

  • The room is really spacious (especially for a solo traveller like me!). Good bed, hot shower and the delicious muffins from Elena: everything I needed!
Although we didn't see each other a lot, Elena was always prepared to answer any questions I had.
It is in a quiet neighborhood but you'll be in downtown Boston in no time. Close to public transportation but even a good walk will get you around.
Nice coffee places and places to eat nearby.
Had a great five days in Boston thanks to Elena!
Would definitively recommend staying here and if I visit Boston again I would like to come back here.

  • Elena's place was great for our first Airbnb experience. The room was huge and tidy, not to mention comfortable. Charlestown, where Elena is located, is cute, safe, and accessible to other key attractions in Boston, like the Freedom Trail. Also, Elena was not overly intrusive , which my friend and I very much appreciated (though I should note that Elena was quick to let us know that she could help us with anything we needed). Highly recommended !

  • Elena was a very nice host. The bedroom is very large and comfortable with a private bathroom.
The house is 10 minutes walking distance from bunker hill and 30 min walking distance from Boston downton. There are also buses going downtown very close from the house.
Although there are some better looking areas in Boston, we had overall a very nice stay.

About
Hello! I've got a great ground-level guest room with a private bathroom and patio that I hope you'll love. too. It's decorated with a slew of rock n'roll posters, plus miscellaneous artwork, giving it an edgy but warm vibe. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY, but have been in Boston for 13 years, so I know the town very well and will be happy to give you some tips on things to do, places to see, and where to eat! I'm a professional freelance writer and graduate of Boston University (1997). I'm especially happy to host BU families! We're kid friendly (there's a kid here, too!), and we love music and sports (especially hockey and baseball.) This is a sometimes noisy, mostly peaceful, and very happy house. Our ideal guests would be parents visiting their kids at college, small families in town for their kids' hockey tournaments, and professionals in town for short stints like job interviews or conferences. Reach out and say hello!
