Josefine is a designer apartment in the heart of Sarajevo’s Old Town, where an Austro-Hungarian building meets a fully renovated, modern interior. Thoughtfully designed throughout, it’s a calm, stylish base for exploring the city on foot.

The space

The open-plan living and dining area is bright and airy, with herringbone floors, designer lighting, and a comfortable sofa with a smart TV (Netflix included) — the heart of the home.

Two separate bedrooms each have a queen-size bed dressed in premium linens, designed for a deep, restful sleep. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4, making it ideal for two couples, a family, or a small group of friends.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook in — full-size oven, stovetop, fridge, and all the essentials. The modern marble bathroom features a walk-in shower and quality fixtures.

Step out onto your private balcony for morning coffee with views over the city — one of our guests’ favourite spots.

The location

You’re just steps from Baščaršija, the Sebilj fountain, the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and the Sacred Heart Cathedral, with the city’s best restaurants, cafés, and bakeries right at your door. Everything in the Old Town is within a short, walkable distance.

This is a non-smoking apartment. The building is shared with other residents, so we kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 4-floor building. Please note there may not be an elevator.
