This is a quaint, cozy pad in the heart of it all. Easy access to everything you'll want to do in the city, with lots of restaurant options within walking distance. Take a look and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Hi there! I live in a cozy two bedroom one bath single story apartment. It's conveniently located north of Balboa Park in University Heights near Hillcrest and North Park. It has hardwood floors, bright light, and modern upgrades throughout.
I am LGBT friendly and live a healthy life (think eating, biking, yoga, etc)...and the community around me is as well.
The master bedroom is light and airy with a queen pillowtop bed. It has an A/C unit, overhead fan, nice reading lights, and is large, quiet, and serene.
The second bedroom is large, has a foldable futon couch and an overhead fan. I have a 3 inch thick memory foam pad that can be used on the futon making it really comfortable. The room has musical instruments and lots of books you can borrow while you are here. I can also clear some closet space if you need it.
There is one bathroom with a bath tub.
I charge $10 per person per night for anything over four people.
I have a couch with chaise that can sleep one more, or you can crash on the floor with some extra blankets (or the memory foam pad I metioned) provided. Just remember...wood floors!
Grocery, Nightlife, Restaurants, coffee shops and more are all within walking distance. Whether you walk 5 minutes down the street to Mystic Mocha for a latte and scone, The Lafayette Hotel for their Saturday pool parties, Pizzeria Luigi for some homemade pizza pie, or Live Wire, the local hipster bar for a brew, I live close to it all. Park Ave. is just a few blocks over and has nightlife and restaurants galore as well.
There is also a gym just behind the complex that offers a free three day membership if you need to work all that vacation food off. :)
I have a full kitchen including food processor, and pots and pans, two pour over coffee drips and I am walking distance to Sprouts Market if you want to cook.
Drive 10 minutes and you'll be at the Airport, Balboa Park, the Zoo, Sea World, Downtown and the Gaslamp, and the Beach. Everything is pretty close around here...taxis are easy and the bus system is great. You can get around quite easily.

My trip was a quick one and pretty last minute, yet Jade was able to help me out in a pinch no problem!
Her place was definitely cozy and very welcoming and worked perfectly for being able to have a night out in San Diego.
Many amenities coupled with an awesome little place and flexible host made my stay wonderful! Just wish I could have stayed longer!
Jade's bungalow is absolutely gorgeous and close to all the fun of SD. She was very welcoming, great at communicating and made the process of checking in smooth and comfortable. She was also very sweet and provided recommendations of fun local bars and restaurants.
Overall, we had an exceptional time staying at the bungalow! My two friends and I are from the LA and San Francisco areas and wanted to take a trip down to San Diego this past weekend. Even though I booked very short notice (about a day prior to the trip), Jade was very accommodating and had everything set up for our arrival, even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got in.
Like the previous reviews have commented, her place is in a great, central location-- just a quick drive from the downtown Gaslamp District and various beach towns. I would definitely recommend booking with Jade!
Jade is an excellent host! My friends and I stayed here for a week in February, and Jade was extremely accommodating. Prior to booking the bungalow, she disclosed to me that it might be small with 5 ppl. I booked the bungalow anyway and my friends and I found that the bungalow accommodated all 5 of us just fine. She also provided us with some essentials for breakfast prior to our arrival. The location of the bungalow is ideally situated for links to main highways making travelling around extremely easy. The area also has lots of shops from supermarkets to cafes within waliking distance. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jade and her bungalow!
Jade is an excellent host! My friends and I stayed here for NYE, and Jade was extremely accommodating. Prior to booking the bungalow, she disclosed to me that it might be small with 6 ppl. I booked the bungalow anyway and my friends and I found that the bungalow accommodated all 6 of us just fine. She also left us a bottle of wine to enjoy for NYE. She was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that I had. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jade and her bungalow!
Jade was very responsive throughout our stay. The apartment was so well stocked - especially the kitchen with loads of kitchenware, food items etc. Our only issues were with the on-street parking (kinda busy bec of Christmas time so understandable) and the heating. Since we visited during winter, the place was really cold ! Jade helped us find a heater which we placed in one of the rooms but it was still cold for the rest of us. Overall, a really nice place and superbly decorated and stocked for guests.

I am originally from Phoenix, AZ, USA, and moved to San Diego in 2012. I love great food, excellent wine (and not so excellent wine!), good music, and traveling. I've been to about 30 countries now...the most recent are from a trip in early 2014 to Central America and summer 2014 to Europe. I can't wait to travel more, and am hoping to get to Greece, Australia, and India soon. I enjoy SCUBA diving, Burning Man, concerts, local eats, and lots of other random things. I live pretty simply so that I have the means to travel and explore all the world has to offer.
As a guest, I don't need much, and I don't need a babysitter. Just a quiet place to lay my heads and a shower. I believe life is all about balance, energy, and karma. You'll get a guest who will treat your place and your belongings with respect and care.
As a host, I want you to enjoy your trip! However I can help make that happen, just let me know. I ask that people leave the place as close as possible to how they found it and just be respectful. I am always available for a call or text, and I make sure our guests have privacy and cleanliness.
Think I'd be a good fit? I hope so!
