The situation really is 2nd to none, bang in the heart of Bordeaux's city centre (a mere 50 metres from the town hall and cathedral!).
We don't offer gold taps and valet service ;-) but we do guarantee a clean, cosy and quiet space and will do everything to make sure your stay is a pleasant and welcoming experience. And because it overlooks the rear of the 18th century building, it's unbelievably quiet... a little nest in the heart of Bordeaux.
The studio can welcome from 1 to 4 guests with a queen sized convertible sofa bed downstairs and standard double bed up on the mezzanine (taller people will need to bear in mind that the ceiling is quite low though up on the sleeping deck).
The apartment is an seperate unit. We don't live on site so you'll be totally independant but that doesn't mean we're not there to help, if you need us ;-).
The studio offers a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. It goes without saying that we supply all the bed linen and towels.
If you need to do any laundry during your stay, the studio offers its own washer-dryer.
The studio is strictly non smoking.
Interaction with Guests
We see it as essential to offer the warmest welcome possible so we make it our priority to always be there for check-ins! Part of our enjoyment is sharing our love of Bordeaux with our guests, so if you have any questions or need any help with anything during your stay, we're just an email, text message or phone call away. If all is well and you rapidly find your Bordeaux feet, then we won't be there pestering you. Basically we're there for you as much or as little as you want us to be!
When you arrive at the apartment, you will have access to our guest welcome folder, which recaps everything from the wifi code, to markets, favourite restaurants, unmissables, etc...
If you choose to stay in our apartment, you'll have all of Bordeaux there on your doorstep. You can discover everything on foot... from the majestic river bank, to the city's amazing architecture, shops, sun bathed terraces, wine bars, cafés, the best restaurants... Just opposite the building, there's a Monoprix supermarket open from 9am to 10pm (ideal for supplies you might need)
Wherever you need to get to by public transport, you'll be able pick up a tram or bus on the doorstep.
If you're coming by car, there are options for parking in this not so car-friendly city : an ultra convenient underground carpark is 50 metres away from our building ! If you don't need the car during your stay, most of our guests park at a very secure and competitive car park just 10 minutes tram journey away.
At the end of the rental period the tenants should leave the property in similar condition to that in which it was found.
As a rule, the check-in is after 2pm and the check-out before 11am. If the flat isn't rented out on the day of departure, a later departure will be granted. It will also be possible to arrange for your luggage to be left at the apartment and picked up later.
There may be a 25 € charge for check-in/out between 9pm and 8am.
We are sorry but for a question of hygiene and possible allergy issues, pets are not accepted.
Smoking is also strictly forbidden in the apartment.
We require a COPY of ID for our "toutist tax" register. Please remember to either send this via email before arrival or remember to bring copies for check-in. (The tourist tax itself (0.85€ per person and per night) is included in the fee - No extra charge on arrrival.
Please respect the other residents in the building. Please observe that quiet is between 10 PM. And 10 AM. Any loud music or noise observed between these times may result in problems.
Bed linen and towels are changed once a week for stays that exceed 1 week.
A la fin du séjour, il est demandé aux locataires que le logement soit laissé dans un état de propreté semblable à son entrée dans les lieux. Les arrivées seront à priori possibles à partir de 14h et les départs effectifs avant 11h. Dans l'éventualité où l'appartement ne serait pas reloué le jour même, un départ plus tardif sera accordé. Toute arrivée ou départ avant 8h ou après 21h, pourra être facturée 25€.
Pour des raisons d'hygiène et d'éventuelles allergies, les animaux de compagnie ne sont pas acceptés.
L'appartement est strictement non fumeur.
Nous aurons besoin d'une COPIE DE PIECE D'IDENTITE pour notre registre de "taxe de séjour". Merci de bien vouloir nous les transmettre soit par email avant votre arrivée, soit nous transmettre les copies lors de la remise des clés à votre arrivée. (La taxe de séjour (soit 0.85€ par personne et par nuitée) est comprise dans notre tarif - Aucun frais supplémentaire à l'arrivée)
Nous demandons à nos locataires de respecter la tranquillité des autres résidents de l'immeuble.
Le linge de maison sera changé 1 fois par semaine pour les séjours de plus d'une semaine.
