Gerard and Richard were excellent hosts! Their apartment was tidy, clean and in a good location not too far from the city centre. They provided good quality advice on activities to do and places to eat. When my travel buddy was delayed by 24 hours they kept me company. I'd highly recommend staying with them on your next trip to Dublin.
We passed a good moment at Richard and Gerard's house. Gerard wasn't present but Richard was here and he gave us very good tips. We had the breakfast the morning with fresh bread, tea, jam and cereales. Their house is at 25 minutes of the city center by feet or 15 minutes by Tram. The neighborhood was quiet and near of the Guinness Storehouse. We really recommend this place !
We can absolutely recommend to stay at Richards and Gerard House. They gave us a lovely welcome. We got tea and received many tips for local pubs and restaurants and attractions. The small room was clean and cosy. We also got some bagles, cheese and cereals for breakfast. Joan and Betty - the two lovely cats - were not shy and very cuddly. Thx guys & cats.
Everything in the apartment is exactly as described. When I arrived, Richard welcomed me well and gave me a tourist map and some information to help me get around the city. Bagels and bread were left out for me in the morning to have a small breakfast. Overall, I had a great experience.
The house is lovely, really quiet and tidy, the hosts are both really friendly. Moreover the location is quite alright, we went to town most of the time by foot or by city bicycle. We recommend Gerard and Richard house!
Warm and hearty welcome, perfect location, great stay!
Gerard and Richard are wonderful hosts and entering the house felt immediately like visiting good friends. Nice and interesting conversations were accompanied by lots and lots of recommendations - be it historical sights, typical irish pubs & restaurants or places to relax. They marked all these places in a map for us and due to the perfect location near the centre of town we could walk to the city restaurants, shops etc. The location is, however, also quiet and we had a good and deep sleep at their comfy home.
They arranged a taxi for our trip back to the airport and
although we stayed with them for three nights, only, we very much enjoyed our trip.
Thanks again for everything!

An open-minded, easy-going and friendly Irish guy. I know Dublin and Ireland intimately and love to share my tips with guests. I've been hosting with Airbnb since 2011 and it's been wonderful meeting people from all over the world. Guests with a profile picture and a profile description are particularly welcome :)
I also speak German and I'm happy to converse auf Deutsch.
