At the moment I am travelling so you would get the main room to yourself. The other room might be occupied by another traveler or roommate.
This apartment is conveniently located next to Vendôme metro station which is near the wealthiest area in Montreal Westmount. You have access to downtown area by day and night with metro and buses. Accesing the heart of the city is fast and easy.
It's a Queen size bed with everything you could need in the room. There is a desk, TV and sofa in the living room. You have a access to a clean kitchen and bathroom. there is another room in the apartment that may have up to one roommate. You will get my local expertise if needed for the city. You will be sharing the apartment with 1 other person at most. For an additional 30$ you can book the whole place when available.
The internet is wired and wi-fi also. There is a local phone line in the living room.

Interaction with Guests
When the small room is occupied they might meet another traveler.
A rich, young, multicultural and vibrant neighborhood filled with everything you need within walking distance.
There is a metro station within 5 minute walk and 24 hour buses in front of the door.
This is a pretty relaxed environment. What I ask is you repect the roommates and their privacy. Please clean up after yourself and use your assigned space. No smoking inside the house. Other then this enjoy the place like it's your home.
This apartment was a great place to stay during our weekend trip to Montreal. The hosts were out of town, so we had the whole place to ourselves, but there are two other rooms (a 'living room' space and an 'office'/TV room) with single beds that could possibly be occupied. The living room is the room with French doors where you can see through the shades if there light on the other side, so that's less private, but the other 2 rooms have regular doors that close.
The small kitchen and bathroom were sufficient, fully supplied, and the queen bed in the master bedroom was the one featured in the picture (though with two single sheets and a thin comforter). The apartment is on the fourth floor, so make sure climbing stairs will work for you. Also, the space is very warm, and the heat can't really be regulated other than opening a window. The location isn't directly downtown, but it is near some good restaurants (such as an Ethiopian place), and there's street parking & a metro stop nearby, so it's easy to get around. WiFi signal was great.
Peter was communicative and accommodating. It wasn't clear to me from the listing that it costs at least $10 more (CAD) for a second person, and when the site added additional fees beyond that, he was able to work everything out. Thanks for a great first stay with Air B-n-B!
Note: the listing has an indoor fireplace and hot tub under amenities, but I did not see either. There is a shower with a tub though. Not sure where the washer/dryer are, maybe elsewhere in the building?
I had a great time at Peters place. The room is really spacious and bright. The bed and the sofa is very comfortable and good for a relaxing evening after a busy day. The only thing you should notice is, that the door is not closing proberly so you don't have a 100% privacy. The aparment is very well located in the city, so that it is really easy to explore the city. Peter was really nice and easy-going on arranging check-in and check-out times. In total I had a great time and would always recommend this place!
This was my first time in Montreal and travelled alone. I definitely recommend this room because it's located downtown, very close to everything such restaurants, pub/bars, pharmacy, banks, and including the subway (metro). The place was nice and spaceous, people were very welcoming and kind. Peter was a great host although he was not on site during my stay, he made sure that I arrive safe and everything's all right.
Peter was a great host and I had a wonderful stay. The space was clean and he was very helpful. He always communicated efficiently and let me know about a couple neat places in the neighbourhood. You should know that this space isn't the most private. The doors are kind of like french doors, with the glass in the centre and the covering he uses does not hide much if there is more light in the room than in the hallway. Fortunately, that wasn't a big issue since people were rarely in the hallway, but it's something to be aware of if you really need your privacy. Also know that his space is on the 4th floor with no elevator, so if accessibility is an issue for you, then space would not be suitable. All in all I would definitely recommend Peter's place as it is comfortable and spacious (loved having access to all the DVDs!) and Peter is kind, professional, and helpful.
Peter is a class act. Dude is the nicest guy and really cares about your experience in mtl. The room was spacious and private. The location was pleasant and super close to everything. He even went the extra mile to give me a cell phone for the weekend. This was my first time using air bnb and it was such a great experience. Highly recommended ten thumbs up!
Peter was a wonderful host with a very clean and comfortable apartment. The apartment is located in the charming Anglo pocket of Montreal and is only a 5 minute walk to the Metro which takes you straight to the Downtown, Old City and Plateau. I would definitely stay with Peter again.
