One bedroom available in West Ashley home perfectly situated to explore downtown Charleston and the surrounding areas.
We are a French & British/American family. After our many travels, we chose Charleston as our home town and we love it! We can recommend lots of different activities around town, and places where you can enjoy tasteful food and drinks according to your preferences.
We love hiking, bird-watching, kayaking, biking, exploring the local restaurants, sites and parks. We enjoy live music and a chilled glass of wine or beer on the patio.
Our home in West Ashley is perfectly situated to explore Charleston and the surrounding areas. We are 7.5 miles away from downtown, 30 minutes from Folly Beach and 30 minutes from Kiawah Island. Ben, Aurore, Savannah and Scarlett have a wonderfull house and room waiting for you. With your own private bathroom next to it, there's is nothing else you could wish more for. I liked the contemporary yet warm interior, the room is loaded with handy information of their beautiful city and everything is very clean! The beautiful sayings in French printed on their wall are something everything home should have, but for knowing what they say exactly, you must go... In short, if you are considering a trip to Charleston, you can stop your search for lodging right here.
We had a very pleasant stay with Aurore and Ben in their beautiful home. They were very kind and helpful and both their daughter Savannah, and little pug Scarlet, were incredibly adorable and funny. The bedroom was cozy, the bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed going to their pool and sipping wine on the couch in their sun-room when we needed a little down time from being out and about all day. It was a wonderful first Airbnb experience!
Aurore and Ben have a lovely bright contemporary home in a beautiful tranquil setting . Our bed was most comfortable, bathroom a few steps outside of the room, large fluffy towels are provided . We were able to come and go with ease and use the refrigerator to store some food items.
This is the second time I stayed with Aurore and Ben. This time I brought my friend Miriam with me. She had never experienced Airbnb before. Aurore, Ben and their daughter made her feel very welcome as they did me. It was good to see them once again and stay in their lovely home. We hope they will come to Asheville and stay at our Airbnb. It was fun to compare notes with them about being Airbnb hosts. We highly recommend staying with Aurore and Ben.
Aurore and Ben have a lovely quiet home that is convenient to the airport and downtown. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean. It was a perfect place to spend a weekend in Charleston!
It has been a real pleasure to stay at Aurore and Ben's 20 min. away from Charleston and the near by islands. Aurore and Ben were so helpful and accommodating through-out our stay. Their house is a delight, bed was very comfortable with lots of space and a private bathroom. We both enjoyed the joyful company of Savannah, an easy going & happy kid as well as Scarlett who is very sweet. The cherry on the cake for my daughter was the swim in the pool after a horseback riding day on Seabrook island. Many thanks for a memorable stay, high five to this lovely family.
Aurore and Ben were so welcoming and they have the most comfortable home! Perfect for our stay. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Charleston!!
We stayed with Ben and Aurore for 2 nights and were so glad to have done this! Ben and Aurore were very hospitable hosts and made us feel at home. The place was clean, the room was comfortable, and the property is pretty conveniently located adjacent to the highway. There were a lot of little things that made the stay memorable (the board on the wall where previous guests put up their recommendations of places to go to in Charleston, the conversations we shared with Ben and Aurore, and their excited puppy!).
Everything was very welcoming and comfortable at Ben and Aurore's home. We enjoyed talking with them and found their suggestions excellent regarding things to do and where to eat. They also left brochures and suggestions from other guests in the bedroom. Their home is large and quiet and the bed is comfortable. Our dog also made friends with their dog!
It was relaxing to come home to such a peaceful place after a day in Charleston and to walk out dog around the development.
It is a real deviation from the norm for us to choose a modern home in a suburban development--we always gravitate to older, historic homes; and we have to admit to getting lost once coming home at night and trying to figure out which street and house was theirs--they do all pretty much look the same; but Ben and Aurore's home has a really unique and hip urban chic flair on the inside--and we loved the wall with their philosophy of their home written in French on it. A truly charming touch. The house was ideally located close to the Ashley River plantations we were visiting and yet easy to get into Charleston, too; and the clincher was that my husband loves to speak French and knew he'd get a chance to do that with Aurore. Ben even set me up to watch a Netflix show that I had been wanting to see for a long time. The guest accommodations were quiet, comfortable, attractive, and clean. Though they do not provide breakfast, they made plenty of good coffee each morning, and we had free range of the kitchen. While Ben and Aurore are lovely hosts and their daughter is adorable, we must say their dog steals the show. What a great pooch--so funny and playful and cute. We would definitely recommend their home to others.
