The Studio "Dar Zembra" is located in the heart of the Arab Andalusian village of SIDI BOU SAID. It is 15 km away from the airport and 2 km away from the archaeological site of Carthage.
The flat"Dar Zembra" is located in a quiet winding lane in the heart of the historic village of SIDI BOU SAID. Interaction with Guests
I am usually present during the traveler’s stay. I'd be cheerful to take you on a guided tour and to tell you more about my village and its history. I am available to meet and answer all your questions...
What I most like in my village is wandering around to get lost in its narrow streets. It is an amazing experience where I can enjoy the pleasant lights at any time of the day while contemplating the an incredible panoramic landscape of the city. Make sure you do not miss the sunsets when you’re around.
To access the housing, an airport taxi will be waiting for you once you arrive. If you have a car you can park freely near the accommodation.
Wi Fi : 1 Euros per day
The location of the studio is excellent and it's very well equipped. We were greeted by the son of Moncef, kind and available. We found fruits, tunisian sweets and refrigerator with basic items for breakfast. We were however very disappointed with the size of the place, is much smaller than it looks in the photos, windowless and with high humidity. The wi-fi did not work well. High cost for the value.
Cozy apartment right in the heart of Sidi bou Said. Easy to get around the neighborhood by foot and to take a train or taxi to Carthage and downtown Tunis. Moncef was very responsive in the lead up to our reservation and his son Cyril was welcoming and courteous. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.
Moncef was such a great host and the studio was perfect! The studio was in a great location, was clean and is exactly as described. There was breakfast food for us and Tunisian treats provided by Moncef. And Sidi Bou Said is an amazing place. We were met by Moncef when we arrived and he took us around Sidi Bou Said and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this studio, and will stay again if I am in Tunis!
J adore Sidi Bou Saïd. Le studio est sympa, bien agencé, et l accueil de Moncef est très bon . Très appréciable les fruits et le frigo bien garnis . Merci pour le séjour .
Moncef is a friendly, helpful and concerned host. He knows the city so good as a local that he offers you very good advice. We do not hesitate to recommend this apartment.
Moncefs little studio was very cosy and perfect for a couple! Breakfast provisions and sweets lasted the entire week and the studio was cleaned after half a week. Sidi Bou Said is a place like in a fairy tale with very kind inhabitants and it offers nice places to eat for every budget. Once every few days Moncef knocked on our door to offer some kind advice and stories about the region.
Moncef was such a wonderful host. He was easy to communicate with and delightful to talk to. He showed me around Sidi Bou Said and spoke to me a little but of the history. He also gave me suggestions of things to do around Tunis. The apartment itself was well situated and immaculately clean. Moncef had stocked the apartment with eggs, milk, Tunisian goodies, and fresh baked sweet bread. I absolutely recommend staying with Moncef!
