Available for Rent is our stunning 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in Telegraph Hill/North Beach.
Our home is all about location, luxury amenities and views, views, views. And not views from a roof deck that you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to. Our views are right off the main living space, on the other side of six panoramic windows, with a large deck with unobstructed vistas of the San Francisco waterfront. From Russian Hill, to the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and beyond. Spectacular!
Once you enter our home, you will ascend a flight of stairs to the bedroom level. Just a heads up...this property has a flight of stairs before you even get to our front door. May not be the best place for those who have difficulty with stairs. On the main floor, you will find a spacious Master Suite with a King-Size Bed, gas fire place, a Jacuzzi Tub, views out to Russian Hill and the Golden Gate Bridge, and a semi-private deck (this deck is shared with a tenant in the building).
Down the hall (closet with washer/dryer), you will find the Second and Third bedrooms. Each is equipped with a Queen-Size Bed, Flat Screen TV, Dresser, side table, and a reasonably sized closet.
A second bathroom (shared by the two guest bedrooms) has a large mirror and probably the most epic shower ever. It's not big, and kind of hard to appreciate until you try it...but it's just great.
Then, up a second set of stairs to the upper floor. Here is where the home really comes to life. Upon coming up the stairs, you are immediately bathed in light from the panoramic, floor to ceiling windows. You can see Lombard street to your left on Russian Hill, panning to the right you see the Golden Gate Bridge which is closer than the photos would lead you to believe. Then it's on to Sausalito, Alcatraz (front and center), Angel Island, the Richmond Bridge (in the distance), and then Berkeley.
There is a 65" tv for your enjoyment as well as a Bluetooth Stereo where you can connect your phone or iPod. A fully stocked bar is available and guests are welcome to it - within reason. Again, we live here half of the time, so our goal is to have the home be enjoyable for not only our guests, but us as well. So, please, don't abuse the bar. We'd hate to have to lock everything away.
The Chef's kitchen (not that I am one :-/) has a Sub Zero fridge, Wolf Range/Oven, and Miele dishwasher. We've got Henckels knives, Stainless Steel cookware, and a pantry stocked with flour, spices, olive oil, the basics. So, plenty of room for you to buy your own groceries, without having to worry about buying every little thing. The kitchen really is a joy to cook in!
Smoking is only allowed on the deck, and please, close the sliding glass door as well. Please DO NOT smoke anything or let smoke from anything, inside the house - and yes, that includes marijuana. Our baby is allergic to smoke.
You will have access to the entire home. Please do note again that this is a 4-unit building, and while we do own the entire building, our other three units are rented by long term tenants. They are aware that we are renting our unit as an occasional vacation rental, so they may ask who you are and it is perfectly fine to tell them the truth - no need to hide behind the whole "we are friends of the owner" stuff.
Interaction with guests
During your stay our family will be staying in our other home which is not in SF, but just a short drive away. If you need anything whatsoever, we are just a phone call or text away.
Other things to note
Parking is usually available, but there is a two-hour limit in the neighborhood. With enough notice, we can secure a parking permit from SF. These are $44 and are for a two week pass. Single day passes are not available. But again, we do need some notice so that we can mail in the request to the City.

The BIGGEST RULE: please remember that this is our home, and not a hotel. We just ask that you treat us and our home with respect – as you would want your home to be treated if you were opening it up to the outside world. Again, we live here half of the time, have just finished a considerable remodel, and want the home to stay in as good a shape as it is now for the next guest.
Aside from that, please also note the following:
*Absolutely no unregistered guests permitted to spend the night in the home (i.e. no bringing home “friends from the bar”);
*Absolutely NO SMOKING in the home (on the deck is fine)
* Please do not disturb the other tenants in the building. If you are on the deck (especially at night), please be aware that someone lives just below so excessive stomping around is not going to work. Of course, perfectly fine to use the deck...we use it every night, just be cognizant that someone lives below.
* Please don't abuse the on-demand cable or the bar. It's a higher-end rental, and we want to extend these sorts of amenities, but if you polish off the whole bar, or rent 10 movies in 1 day, then obviously we'll have to reconsider these perks for future guests.
*If anything gets broken/damaged, please call it to our attention. We're not going to be jerks about a broken glass or plate...we just want to make sure things are up to par for the next guest. Okay
