The house was beautiful and very specious, but the owner remained on the property the entire time and did not provide much privacy to guests. At the end of the stay, he tried to pass off existing damage and asked us to pay a large amount of money (more than a typical security deposit).
He provided a terrible first impression of the Airbnb and I would not recommend his property.
Shannon, we are sorry you are disgruntled with your stay in our home, but it is because of your own doing. You negotiated a special rate, since you were bringing 8-10 people for a wedding weekend, but a lot more than that were coming and going and staying all weekend. This is our personal home and the damage to the floor and table most definitely were caused by your group and the monies reimbursed to us from Airbnb included the damage and the added cost for the additional people. Never has any other guests minded us being in another residence on the property - but then they were paying for ALL guests. The reason Airbnb works so well for all involved, is that it's people trusting people.
If you are looking for the perfect retreat or family reunion space, this is it! Randy and Lynn are perfect hosts and their ranch is amazing. The home is beautiful inside and out and comes with the most spectacular views of Granite Mountain. Our family is looking forward to a return visit soon!
Had a wonderful time staying at the ranch! Host was great and accommodating. Would consider staying again if we are in the Prescott area.
This was the perfect stay! Randy and his wife are the perfect hosts!
We were a group of four coming in from Grand Canyon. The house is immaculate, huge and is even better than the pictures and the host description. I understand that Randy and his wife has kinda built this house themselves and the ambience and atmosphere they have here is great. It was my friends first stay with airbnb, and I'm sure it will not be the last after their experience with this house and its hosts. Even though the Randy and his wife stayed near the property they respected our privacy, but next time I would definitely invite him and his wife over for dinner. :)
Randy proposed to make us breakfast in the morning, but as we had plans to move along early in the morning we unfortunately had to decline his kind offer. Instead, he put out some fresh bagels and guided us towards the fridge to help ourselves with what we needed. He even put on the timer on the coffeemaker so that we woke up to the delicate smell of fresh coffee.
The house itself is very nice, kind of luxurious - though neat and restful. It has at least three spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds, and Randy put a comfortable airbed in one of the other rooms that was transferred into a bedroom for our stay. I would love to have his kitchen in my own house, it is big and has room for a lot of people making food together which is a thing we greatly appreciate. The living room is spacious and comfortable and the ambience and atmosphere invites to conversations.
But the outdoor space is probably where you want to spend your time. We had a great time at his BBQ-bar - not to mention in his hot tub which was a very nice to our sore muscles after many days on a motorbike. We unfortunately didn't get to try out his pool because we arrived late in the evening, but I understand that the pool is heated and would probably be nice for a morning swim or just relax after a long day of hiking in the Prescott National Forest which is literally next door. The place seems kid friendly and family friendly.
All in all this was the perfect stay in a perfect house with a perfect host. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the neighborhood.

We moved here from Naperville Illinois 10 years ago to enjoy the beautiful weather in Prescott Arizona. We love the Prescott area with the hiking and out door activities. We enjoy riding our horses back in the Prescott National Forest, and it's only one block from the ranch. I'am a Home Builder and like to build things around our property. My project currently is a tree house for our grandchildren and for extra guests. We like to have pool parties with Jimmy Buffet music and play pool volley ball with our family and friends. When guests come in we like to take them to Jerome,Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. We love it here, we think you will Too!
