Acme guest house was exactly what I hoped for, if not better. Rob and Cassandra are great hosts. All of our questions were answered promptly, even ones about cooking rice at high-altitude. The house was plenty spacious for my husband, myself, and our 14 year old son. Son had his own room, which made us all happy. The kitchen is well stocked. But, if you are cooking something that needs more than a basic skillet or saucepan, bring what you need. We needed a larger crockpot and our fry-daddy, but had asked ahead of time and were prepared. The location is perfect, as it is within walking distance to everything in town, and it's on the OHV route, so we could park out utv at the front door. We will definitely stay here again in the future if we are coming to Silverton.

This cozy and eclectic place should be the most sort-after place in Silverton. Everything needed has been included. Perfect location in the town, yet quiet. 3/10th mile from grocery store. 4th of July fireworks marvelous and town museum exceptional! Wonderful stay!!!

We stayed a week and it was everything we wanted and more! Check in was smooth, the location couldn't be better. You are on the main street, but a block away from the action so it is still quiet. At the time we stayed it was also on the OHV route, so we parked our RZR in front of the house, and didn't have any problems at all. The house was comfortable, and felt like home. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, and even some perks! If you have kids, check out the chest in the middle of the house, it has games and puzzles. There are also some movies and books in the living room if you want to relax in the house after a long day. The view out the front porch is great as well, just what we wanted to walk out to. Cassandra was very helpful with whatever we needed. If you want to experience Silverton and the surrounding areas, this is your place.

Thank you Cassandra & Robert for a lovely stay! The house had plenty of room for 4 adults, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and I LOVED all the plants and the charming homey decor. We enjoyed sitting outside right on the main street and watching people go by. Plenty of great food & refreshment as well as groceries within walking distance too. Would recommend your place to everyone! Thanks again!

Cute home in central Silverton, Colorado. They home was well kept, clean and comfortable, and the owners greeted us upon arrival and were readily available when we needed to reach them. Value priced for location.

Beautiful and comfortable 2 bedroom right on Main Street, not to be confused with traffic or business of any kind in this quaint and beautiful town nestled in the midst of mind-blowing mountains.

Cassandra And Robert User ProfileCassandra And Robert is a superhost.

Many years ago while taking a month-long bicycle tour from Flagstaff, AZ to Iowa City, IA, we rode through the majestic San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. Years passed, we married, graduated from college and had a kid. Seeking new opportunities, Rob convinced Cassandra to pull up stakes in Flagstaff, and move to Silverton! With no job prospects, and a months rent paid, we embarked on the journey that's led to Acme Guesthouse! Cassandra has managed the busiest lodging facility in Silverton for the last five years, and is now working on her MBA. Rob guides and patrols at the world-renowned Silverton Mountain Ski Area in the winter, and on the Colorado Trail with Colorado Mountain Expeditions in the summer. We both love to be outside as much as possible, getting after it!
