A gorgeous modern self contained apartment within our Victorian house with its own entrance and cute back garden. The apartment is extremely well located for many tourist areas of London and the local daily markets and shops, including a great 24/7 grocery/deli just 2 minutes away.
The apartment is within an 1870's house, but has a modern very characterful design, making full use of the space. You enter through the side gate, walk through the garden across the decking and into the apartment though the double doors. It's has a lovely cosy atmosphere and is a real den to escape to.
The first space you come to is the lounge with lots of very comfortable large bean bags and cushions. The small kitchen area is off to one side and includes all the regular kitchen appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and two ring hob. Through the arch (which has a sliding door) is the large double bedroom with ensuite shower/wet room with lots of mirrors. There is a very comfortable Kaymed king size bed with lovely white Egyptian cotton bedlinen. We supply plenty of fluffy white towels.
The room rate advertised applies to 2 people sharing the kingsize bed. If required, an additional bed for a charge of £25 per night could be provided in the lounge area. It's a very good double Jay-Be Royal Pocket Comfort Folding Guest Bed. Please email me for more details to see what works best for you.
Generally there is a minimum booking of 5 nights, however, depending on availability, the time of the year and week shorter stays might be considered. Please drop me a message.

Complementary chilled wine and beer in the fridge and croissants, coffee, tea, cereals, OJ and a bowl of fruit for breakfast.
I have a cute, well behaved, friendly little dog called Jarvis (he's a Border Terrier), but he'll only come and say hello if you like dogs, otherwise he stays in his house just upstairs from the apartment.
ON HAND TO HELP
I am happy to be available as and when guests would like. Some guests like to be independent but I am happy to share a glass of wine and I am usually on hand to help with anything, from recommending local restaurants to helping plan trips in the city.
OVERVIEW OF THE AREA
The area is a real London neighbourhood. We live on a cute Victorian terrace street. It's a very friendly street, where most people know each other and has an active residents association.
Walk, literally, just round the corner and we're a few minutes away from lots of shops and very convenient bus routes into town, going past many iconic London sights on the way.
There are tennis courts, a recently renovated (£8m) park and a gym nearby plus a vibrant local market, restaurants and many very handy shops just round the corner.
As well as Kennington and Elephant & Castle Underground tube stations, the apartment is very well served for buses to almost anywhere in London. They're a great way to get around and see things on the way, especially the fabulous views over the river.

We are an 8 minute walk from Kennington tube, and 10 minutes walk from Elephant and Castle tube station (zone 1).

To be considerate with noise and to leave the apartment in the same condition it is found in. This is a non-smoking apartment.
The basement apartment is separate from the rest of the house and has its own entrance via the black side gate into the back garden.
Guest parking permits can be purchased, although public transport (tube and buses) are excellent here.
There is a very well behaved and friendly small dog that lives in the house and shares the little garden called Jarvis.
ID (e.g. passport) may be requested on arrival.
Check-in is any time after 4pm (to give us time to clean the apartment). Check-out is by 11am.
