This stay was far more better than I could expect! Ayelet made me feel comfortable and allowed me to have as much privacy as I needed, while in no way I felt just as a guest! Great communication, big room and the nicest host I ever had! Thank you!

Ayelet was a marvelous host and made me feel very at home. I had a few date and time changes and she was very accommodating and understanding. Her house is beautiful and full of history, the neighborhood leafy, and a two-minute walk from the best mac and cheese I've ever eaten in…

Ayelet and her family were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Their home was exactly as pictured ... clean and in a cute neighborhood. When I had the time, I tried to take advantage of the local…

I had a very nice stay at Ayelet's place. She was truly a caring host and very friendly too! It was too unfortunate that I spent most of my time outside of the house, exploring Washington DC, otherwise I would love to chat more and share stories with her. The listing description …

Apart that everything I said it was taken out of context in our brief painful conversation ,what made me very upset that this host was keeping me with my small daughter in icy cold room in the middle of January. Third night my daughter wanted to sleep in her clothes.Radiator in…

Response from Ayelet:
Absolutely nothing was conveyed to me about the temperature of the room. Had she given the slightest indication that she or her daughter were experiencing any discomfort, I would have been appalled and immediately taken the simple step of adjusting the temperature. Our other guest on the same floor expressed nothing of this sort. There is something disturbing about the way her concerns are being expressed that borders on dishonesty and is completely at odds with my other guests' uniform praise for my attentiveness to their comfort. An accurate review would have mentioned that I offered them hot breakfast and went out late at night to find something she needed for her work the next morning.

Ayelet and her family were very welcoming hosts! The room is peaceful and quaint, and I had a good stay. The house is conveniently close to a food co-op and a bus stop. Be careful if you have allergies, however, as they have a (very friendly) dog!

This is a great place to stay for those looking to live like a local. Ayelet's home is very welcoming and the space was perfect for me. The only downside was the room being on the third floor. But honestly the environment outweighed that one drawback. Ayelet and her hubby were gr…

Nonprofit professional living in Washington, DC area. Non-smoker, non-drinker. I am often accompanied by two small children and a handsome fella. I've been a landlord for many years and am a somewhat compulsive cleaner, but am otherwise relaxed, friendly and love helping people.
