The space

We ask all potential guests to complete your Airbnb profile, including at least one passport or driving license upload as one of your online and offline verifications, some information about yourself, where you call home, and at least one recognisable profile photograph - thank you.

Stylish multi-level penthouse apartment - two flights up from secure street level to apartment front door. Another flight to 2nd floor bedrooms. Then up to 3rd floor penthouse living with spacious timber & glass balcony, private outside hot tub spa & Weber gas BBQ overlooking beach. Other balconies over village shops, restaurants & railway station. Spectacular 180 degree vistas sweeping from Mount Martha through to city, & across Port Phillip Bay to the distant You Yang Mountains.
Relaxed upper penthouse level, light-filled & airy, fireside living with large glass doors framing gorgeous views, open plan with dining area.
Yummy chocolates & a bottle of Victorian wine await you.
Beautifully appointed kitchen with full oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, crockery, cutlery, with basic pantry goods provided. Kitchen opens to its own small balcony with breakfast table to catch morning sun. Breakfast provisions are supplied for your first morning, along with tea, coffee & basic pantry items.
Lower level has the main bedroom with queen sized bed & luxury bedding, walk-in robe, ensuite bathroom, balcony & heating. Second bedroom has two single beds which can be slid together as a double if requested, an electric heater, plenty of wardrobe space & bedside balcony with its own bay views. This second bedroom is only available for bookings of 3 or 4 guests. Another bathroom is off the main passage, stocked with beautiful organic soaps, shampoo & conditioner for your use, along with a hairdryer & sunscreen lotion.
On this level is a combined Bosch washer/dryer for your convenience, & an iron also.
Your apartment has dedicated unlimited ADSL2+ internet connection complete with Wi-Fi Router.
There is a building security entrance door with camera at street level.

Please let us know your flight &/or your anticipated arrival time when sorted. Please also message via SMS or Airbnb, when 30min from the Sandringham apartment.
Your apartment is located right in Sandringham village - minutes walk to beach with parking, public BBQ's & playground, shops, supermarket, cafe's, hotel, restaurants, library, trains, buses, taxis & on-line Uber cabs.
We prefer to meet all guests on arrival for a brief overview of the apartment, or will make other arrangements if necessary.

Other things to note

As we value your privacy, the apartment is not cleaned during your stay, the Bosch washer/dryer combo supplied for your laundering. There are also organic cleaning products provided.
Regular cleaning can be arranged if required for longer stays. This is through an independent cleaning agency, prices upon request.
*No smoking inside or on balconies. Smoking only at street level outside apartment block.
*Stair access only, no elevator, no disabled access.
*24Hr public `Bayside Council Permit' parking is available nearby (permit available on request). No parking onsite.
*Other daytime public street parking is subject to time restrictions.
*Public transport 2 minutes walk away. Senior (60+ years), Adult, & child (up to 16years) MYKI transport passes can be provided on loan for your use on request. Pay as you go.
*If the apartment is booked for 2-guests only, the second bedroom is not available for use.

This place is a gem,flawless in every way. From the magnificent view of the bay to the details inside of the apartment. And mustn't forget the warm hospitality given from the owners Sue and Ian. Right from the beginning they were there to greet us, they were very informative. They made sure their refrigerator was stocked with essentials to get us through the mornings, a basket of fruit, a box of chocolates, wine, and train passes, which was super considering the train station was literally across the street. This hamlet is right in the heart of town, and across from the beach. You can see the city on a clear day. I can go on about how gorgeous this place is, but you will have to see for yourself!

We stayed here for close to ten days and are longing to come back for more. The house is beautiful, the location is scenic and close to everything that you'll need. The 270+ degree bay view from the upper floor is stunning. Thank you Sue and Ian for letting us stay in your wonderful property. Also big thanks to Gwen for such a warm welcome and being so accommodating and helpful with the early check in and late check out. We have loved our time here and will definitely cherish these memories for a long time.

Great place to stay near Sandringham beach and public transportation at the same time. The view is stunning and the modern flat has every amenity you wish to have. The hospitality was great and generous. Definitely will come back.

We have stayed at this apartment before and it was just as good as on our first visit. Very clean with everything available to use and a great welcome of which included a bottle of wine and items to eat. The position of the apartment is great with lovely sea views and so close to the beach. As we have family nearby we will be tempted to stay here again

A superb position above Sandringham centre with panoramic bay views, fantastic sunsets, sipping wine on the deck or in the hot tub. Sue and Ian have provided every comfort and facility one could need for a 5 star experience. You will get fit climbing the 50 steps up to this delightful penthouse!
