Mac and Noi are such friendly, welcoming hosts! They provided us with coffee, tea and water and we had a fridge in the room. The house is in a nice neighborhood area with lots if local eats nearby and a short walk to the Skytrain. Also be sure to try their restaurant Enjoy - so good!
Mac & Noi are super friendly and helped us settle in to Bangkok so smoothly. Our room was nice and spacious, and the shared bathroom was sparkling clean. The location is superb - we liked being on a less-busy side street and it's quick to get to good food, amazing massages, and walk to the Skytrain or River Taxi to access more touristy areas. We highly recommend trying out Enjoy, their restaurant. The food was hands down the best we had in Bangkok!
Mac and Noi were incredibly helpful with information and bottled water each day. And a brand new air conditioner...
However the place we stayed in was not the place advertised although the place was comfortable enough. Mac gave us some good recommendations like the 2 hour massage in the local Buddhist temple. Absolutely fantastic. And he bothered to find some black tea which was great
Well what can I say about Mac and Noi, they are wonderful hosts!
It turned out myself, hubby and pair of 5-year-old girls were the first to stay at the new guesthouse and our hosts were caught out a little under-prepared. To be fair, in my enquiries I had been fairly unclear and unsure about our arrival and departure dates so that would not have helped their preparations.
However, despite this little hitch I can in no way say a bad thing about the hosts. The room was clean, very cool with a brand new air-con, TV and full-sized fridge. The space was a bit snug for us, being four people but we managed. If you want to experience some real local Thai lifestyle, the location is perfect. It's like a small rural cul-de-sac in the middle of Bangkok! Street vendor heaven! Be sure to eat at the pop-up restaurant on an evening on the corner...turn right outside the gate of the property go to the end of the street. On the left hand corner.
We shared the house with Mac and Noi and they really made us feel comfortable, helping us any way they could, showing us great local places to eat, tips on how to get around, where to go, etc. We really felt like we were staying with friends by the end, which is wonderful when you've been travelling for two months (and still have 9 weeks to go!) with your little ones.
While we only made it to Enjoy BKK, Mac and Noi's bar/pub/restaurant once, it was a lovely experience. Mac even brought their cat along so the girls played with her and we kicked back in the comfy lounges, and enjoyed a delicious meal, once again feeling like we were at a friend's restaurant. GREAT place to chill out...even if it's with the kids!
Thanks Mac and Noi for being so genuine and warm and welcoming. Will definitely return to see you next time we're in Bangkok, really want to see the big new guesthouse! All the best :-)
Really great to have an English speaking host, helped us out with where to go, trains, ferries etc.
The rooms were great.
The Enjoy BKK Bistro was actually some of the best food we ate whilst in Bangkok.
Highly recommend a visit to Mac and Noi
Once again Noi and Mac where very helpful, I had some visa troubles and they totally helped me take care of it!! I would have had no clue as to what to have done!!!
These guys are awesome!!!!
If your not sure about coming to Bangkok stay here your concerns will be put to rest!!! Noi and Mac are like having your own tour guilds!!!
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Mac and Noi were greats hosts! The rooms were better than expected! We rented 4 rooms with them, they were tidy and each had their own bathroom which was great! We expected to just get checked in and left to our own accord, but Mac was great. He hung around with us, showed us great places around town. Showed us the public transit and things like that. They even invited us to join them at an island called Pattaya. I have already been recommending to my friends if they go to Bangkok, the must stay with Mac and Noi. When I return to Bangkok in the future, I know who I will be staying! Thank so much Mac and Noi!
