The Space

My Spacious Bachelor apartment with high ceilings is available for rent for at least few nights to few weeks.

This is a beautiful private clean apartment located in the heart of Toronto on a quite and quant street (Baldwin Village) near many excellent restaurants, bistros, cafes and galleries, Kensington Market, China Town and Queen Street West.

This apartment has everything one could need while visiting Toronto. Incredibly sunny and airy, wood floored, good size kitchen perfect for cooking in, a great bathroom with a shower (and clean towels) plus Internet!

The Place is completely private with a beautiful sun room/area, dining table and work area/desk. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, a gas stove, cupboard space for storage and cookware/dishware. My bedroom area is a bit separated from the living area, with a brand NEW queen size bed! The apartment is in a house with really great and quite neighbors. There is a cute front yard and seating area in the front of the apartment.

The Apartment can accommodate two people sharing one bed and possibly 3rd on the coach. The apartment is full of eclectic pieces of furniture, comfort and privacy.

Check In
  • Basil's place was great. In a nice neighborhood and cozy. He made it easy for us to check in and out.

  • Great spot, excellent neighborhood. Don't miss Kensington market which is just down the road. And the Kekou gelato spot is hands down one of best gelatos around. Basil! Thanks for everything. Was a wonderful stay.

  • Basil (email hidden). I arrived at a pretty early hour and he was awake to let me drop things off and show me the neighborhood (and an excellent coffee shop to relax) while he got the place ready. The apartment is perfect for a week's stay, central to everything, and just right if you're in on business or just sight seeing. Definitely would stay at Basil's place again next time I'm in Toronto!

  • Basil has a lovely apartment, very close to the University of Toronto, Chinatown, Kensington Market and public transit. When I arrived, Basil made me feel very welcome and showed me everything I needed to know. (email hidden) was a positive experience all-around. I can very much recommend Basil's apartment.

  • Basil's home is comfy and colourful and perfect for anyone looking for a creative, vintage-inspired space. It's on a quiet street near Baldwin Village, Chinatown and Kensington Market and is only a short walk to the Queen West shopping district. It was perfect for my 2 week stay in Toronto. Basil was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend his beautiful space.

  • Basil saved us from what might have been a disaster by allowing us to (email hidden). which is perfectly placed for exploring Toronto.
Great cafes close by in Baldwin Village and very close to the bustle of China Town and Kensington Market.
Basil (email hidden) - there to meet us and give us a run through of both the place and it's surroundings. A very comfortable stay in a home away from home!

  • I really enjoyed my stay. Basil's home was comfortable, clean and in a great area of Toronto. Very close to TTC, Kensington Market, shops, and cafes. Basil was friendly and excellent with communication both before and during my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

  • (email hidden) to say in Toronto! Basil's home is a nice flat, in a very lively neighborhood (I loved Kensignton market!) yet in a surprisingly calm street. Great light, wonderful objects and vintage furniture makes his home cosy and unique. Basil has been very careful to facilitate my arrival (keys, instructions) and advised some lovely places in the city to visit. A lovely little garden in front of the windows makes you feel almost out of the city. Lovely neighbors too. A place I highly recommend, definitely! Thank you Basil :)

  • Basil (email hidden) during our stay. He's friendly, fun, and a great communicator.

Basil's apartment is cute, clean, and full of charming little things. He gave us a very thorough tour of the place and made sure that we felt at home. There's a tiny garden outside, and it was really nice to sit outside and have morning espressos each day.

I'd recommend Basil's place to anyone looking for a centrally-located but quiet place to stay during their visit to Toronto. It was a really nice time.
