Relax with the rain shower and jacuzzi.
There's no other place like it in Chicago. A converted 1900's warehouse in the heart of Wicker Park - Once a Prohibition-era distillery, then a spring factory, and finally reimagined as a one-of-a-kind designer loft. Features soaring 14-foot timber ceilings, exposed brick, and a level of finish that earned a national kitchen award and a feature in TimeOut's "Best in Chicago". The kitchen is massive. The bathrooms are luxurious. Plus, Chicago's best neighborhood is right outside the door.

The space
This early 1900s warehouse has lived many lives — Prohibition distillery, industrial spring factory, and now a stunning open loft with 14-foot timber ceilings, floor-to-ceiling exposed brick, and solid oak floors. The Asian-industrial aesthetic running throughout reflects years of travel through Japan, China, and Hong Kong.

The Kitchen
Featured in Signature Kitchen & Bath's 2014 national awards (2nd prize, contemporary class), this kitchen is amazing. A 10-foot stainless steel island anchors the space, flanked by a 6-burner Thermador gas range with 22,000 BTUs, double ovens, a commercial exhaust hood, and a massive refrigerator. If you like to cook, you'll never want to leave.

The Bar
The cocktail bar comes fully stocked — a curated selection of bourbon, Japanese whisky, and Scotch, all included for your enjoyment. We also keep the coffee situation dialed: a Nespresso machine for convenience with a Baratza Encore grinder and a Fellow gooseneck kettle if you wanna take it up a notch. And because we ran a rare tea business for years, you'll have access to rare hand-plucked oolong and aged Puerh teas that you simply won't find anywhere else.

The Bathrooms
Both full bathrooms are finished floor-to-ceiling in Spanish porcelain tile with glass-enclosed showers and rainfall shower heads. The master bath takes it further: an illuminated mirror, heated floors, a Japanese toilet, and a deep stainless Japanese soaking tub. A high-efficiency washer and dryer are also in-unit for your use.

The Bedroom
A king bed dressed in brushed sateen sheets, a faux fur comforter, featherbed topper, and a full stack of plush pillows. You'll sleep well, trust me.

Guest access
The entire loft is yours. That includes:
• 65" Samsung 4K flatscreen with Netflix and Prime
• Sonos sound bar and speaker system
• Nest thermostat for easy climate control
• Full set of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and appliances
• Thick Turkish cotton towels and Public Goods toiletries
• Samsung in-unit washer and dryer
• Check in, pour a drink, and exhale.

Other things to note
• The bed is king-sized.
• FREE street parking is available on surrounding streets (Haddon, Wood, Honore, Thomas).
• The loft accommodates 2 guests maximum (but starting in June 2026, I'm adding a bed and upping it to 4 people!)

Neighborhood highlights

Wicker Park is one of Chicago's most distinctive neighborhoods — walkable, lively, and full of character without feeling like a tourist destination. Division Street puts you steps from excellent cocktail bars, coffee shops, boutique restaurants, and one of the best patio scenes in the city. The Blue Line stop is nearby for easy access to the Loop, O'Hare, or wherever the day takes you.
It rewards wandering.

Where I went to school: Carnegie Mellon University
My work: Commercial Real Estate Investment
I grew up in Pittsburgh, lived in Hong Kong for a summer, London a bit, then I settled in Chicago. I've been here for over 17 years! I'm an avid traveler, out of the country 3-4 times per year. Asia is my favorite (of course), then Latin America or Africa. I'm really into photography, the outdoors, soccer, skiing, hiking, cycling, scuba diving, and interior design. Most nights, I'll be winding down by cooking dinner and sipping on oolong.
