A wonderful 1 bedroom apartment, less than a min walk from the busiest shopping area in the world. It's just far enough away to not be noisy at all but great restaurants, shops, sights are all around and situated near all transport (MTR, buses, etc.)
This 1 bedroom apartment is a 2 min walk away from two of the largest shopping centers in Hong Kong: Times Square and the just opened Hysan Place. All the shopping in the world is yours within these two malls.
The best thing though is the Tang Long Street area where the building is located is still part of older hong kong with absolutely fabulous little local eateries. If you get tired of the busy city (it does wear you down!), there is also a minibus station steps from the apartment that takes you direct to Stanley market, where you can relax on the sandy beaches and do a bit of shopping at the charming street stalls there, lots of great outdoor restaurants in the area as well.
The apartment is equipped with FREE WiFi and basic Cable channels. There is a full kitchen, microwave, fridge and washer. The double bed in the bedroom comfortably sleeps two and the double pull out sofa in the living room can be a suitable backup for a last minute guest.
I have lived in the area for over 25 years and would absolutely enjoy sharing some insights of nearby eateries and local shops.
TV, Cable, Full Kitchen,
Towels, Sheets, Toilet Paper, Body Soap, Shampoo, hair dryer.
Will meet you either at check in or anytime during your stay if you'd like to get recommendations around the area.
Perfectly located in the middle of it all, there are world class shopping centres, wonderful eateries, side streets filled with charming local specialty shops, this is Causewaybay and you will not want for more convenience. The Causweway Bay MTR station is but 2 min walk away and Times Square, Hysan Place, Sogo are some of Hong Kong's biggest shopping centres mere steps from the building.
Buses, Trams and the underground MTR are all within 2 minutes walk from the building, a minibus station near the apartment also takes to scenic Stanley beach, you really can't get much more convenient than this.
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.

Great little apartment, perfect for a couple. Well placed for us in the centre of CWB. Clean and tidy.
Was a bit noisy, as there is construction opposite at the moment - but if you are up and out early you won't hear the pile-drivers. Work on-going in the foyer downstairs was annoying, cos the workmen kept using the (slow) lift....
Lift was out of order twice during the week too.
We reached HK in the early morning. As there was no previous guest before us, Jason was very accomodating and allowed us to check in before 10am. He met us personally at the building and show us the flat himself. The flat was small but tidy and well equipped. The location was great. 5 mins walk to shopping areas like SOGO and Times Square.MTR is round the corner. There are some good eateries with long queue along the very street that the flat is located. Jason provided good tips on good eats nearby too and is readily available when we needed help. It was a good stay.
Location is fabulous. Nice eateries just below e apartment. Aside from that, few points i need to point out.
(1) Apartment just nice for 3pax to stay as luggages take up spaces.
(2) Water heater takes up 5-8mins to be heated up. It turns cols half way using it and it takes awhile to be warm again. Quite disturbing when u are half way showering especially in such cold weather now.
(3) Toilet bowl flush needs to wait for at least 4hrs for the next flush. The storage water tank doesn't refill up fast. We were quite disturbed with it and have to manually top up water on the flush bowl.
Hope Jason gets the toilet flush fix soon. Cheers!
The location was perfect for a week's stay in Hong Kong.
Jason was an outstanding host and did everything from when we arrived at the airport to make sure we were well settled in. Kept up great communication at all times and accepted our booking at the last minute. Jason was also extremely flexible and accomodating in our requests and just wanted to make sure our stay in Hong Kong was as enjoyable as possible. As for the apartment itself - for Hong Kong standards, it has everything you need. All the descriptions below is accurate - but the location is actually second to none! No hesitation in recommending this place to anyone wanting to come to Hong Kong and it will be the place I return to!
We lived in the apartment for almost a month from Nov 2013 to Dec 2013. The apartment was enough for our family of 4, with the sofa bed in the living room. The best thing we like about the apartment is that the location is really THE best. It is literally 30 seconds' walk (for me) from Time Square and there are many good food and shopping within walking distance of the apartment. Personally I love the proximity to the new mall Hysan Place, with its foodcourt at level 11, Eslite at levels 8 to 10 and restaurants at level 12 and up. There are also 2 24-hour Wellcome within walking distance, which helped a lot as I had to look for panadol for my son in the middle of night when he ran a fever.
The kitchen was small, so we only used it to boil water and prepare our morning beverages, but with so many food choices around, there is no need to cook our own! There is a laundromat less than 10 meters away, they charge by the pound and the clothes are available 2 hours later.
Unfortunately, during the time of our stay, there were some upgrading works done on the building, so the water was not very clean for drinking, but Jason ensured that we had good clean drinking water by buying us bottled water after I mentioned it to him.
Jason was a great host and attended to such little problems we encountered promptly.
All in all it was a pleasant experience staying in the apartment. :)
Jason's very communicative, which helps to arrange the whole stay a lot! His appartment is really nice and for Hong Kong also pretty big. We stayed in two for a week and enjoyed the place a lot. Everything in the appartment is very convenient, I especially appreciated the shower because you don't always have such well mixed hot water in HK appartments (it's either too hot or too cold!).
Oh and the area is great - very central, yet pretty quiet. Lots of places to eat around.
I'd definitely stay at Jason's appartment again, so I can highly recomend it!
Convenient location for transport, restaurants and shops. Secure apartment with doorman. Clean and tidy! No problems at all - would certainly recommend.
It was quite a delightful experience. The apartment is nestled on a block with seriously good food, not to mention right behind Times Square! Public transportation is conveniently accessible within steps.
Jason was a great host. The apartment was a spacious, especially for HK. It came well equipped with a binder of suggestions for eateries-- including dessert bars, site attractions, beaches!, etc. There is a doorman, he is nice. The neighbors are as well, you can sometimes hear them (usually just during peak hours).
Jason is also quick to respond to any question you may have. The overall experience was nice and accommodating.
This is a great apartment, very cosy and right next to Time's Square on a very interesting side street. The facilities are clean and high quality and Jason is a very helpful and efficient host.
