Interaction with Guests
We like to talk, we like to spend time with our guests (sharing a cup of tea, a glass of wine or a breakfast) but it depends on your expectations. We know that every visitor is different and does not wish the same contact.
Quiet area and easy access to all shops in the village. Perfect for visiting the city of Saint-Emilion (8km).
By car, you can go and visit saint-Emilion of course, but there are so many things to see in the "entre deux mers" or in the wonderfull Dordogne Valley.
A day trip to Bordeaux or Arcachon is also possible from home.
Walking is also a good way to discover the countryside. Bring a pic nic, stop where you want and enjoy the nature.
By car of course
By train to Saint-Emilion (we can arrange pick-up)
We can provide bikes for your local trips
We'll ask our guests not to smoke inside the studio. We are open to late arrivals when necessary.
What a lovely couple! Not only do they provide a lovely room and a great breakfast--they operate a little crepe restaurant in the village where we were able to enjoy a wonderful meal when we arrived from a long drive.
We were very pleased with the accommodations even though at first we thought that we had made an error to stay so far from StcEmilion--as it turned out it was the perfect place to stop
My husband, son and I had a lovely 2 nights with Christina and Emmanuel, who offered us a wonderful breakfast each morning with fresh croissants and coffee. We stayed in October which is out of season, and it was very cold. We enjoyed walks by the river Dordogne, and Sainte Emilion is a must see, and very close to the accomodaion. Thank you Christine and Emmanuel.
The appartment was calm, clean and quite comfortable. The hosts aee very friendly and helpful. Parking possibility was given. Perfect starting point to visit St. Emilion and surrounding.

The experience of a stay at Christine and Emmanuel's lovely house and garden next to the river is great. They are warm and very helpful hosts without being intrusive. Communication in French or English is easy. The accommodation is small but has all you need with access to a large terrace and garden. The location allows for ease of access to many spots including Sainte Emillion, Bordeaux and Arcachon. You need to like dogs and cats - we do. We will recommend to our friends in Australia. Una experiencia agradable el sitio muy acojedor y los anfitriones encantadores
Christine and Emmanuel were great and the apartment was exactly as described. We enjoyed the company of our hosts and benefited from their recommendations on everything from cute local markets to explore to where to purchase a new outlet converter after ours broke mid-trip. I would absolutely recommend this location to others and I would stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality, Christine and Emmanuel!!
