  • Myself and a friend were looking for somewhere with a bit of space and fully furnished with a decent kitchen for a 4 week uni placement. This apartment was fantastic, with a good kitchen and all the utensils, as well as two bedrooms and all linen and towels provided. We were close to the uni as well as Sliema and bus stops to Valletta, so had no trouble going anywhere we wanted to in Malta. While there were a few problems in the apartment, such as the keys not opening the door, there are staff in the block most mornings who were happy to help us out and fix any problems. The apartment block has washing machines and dryers that are token operated, and tokens can be bought from the apartment staff.

  • We didn't quite get the idea of the place. Looks like it was a huge building in which they rent out the apartments in particular through AirBnB.

The problem with this kind of business is that nobody there really cares about the people who come and go. So even though there was nothing really terrible with our experience there, we didn't like our stay at the place.

All the problems were about the details: the apartment was not really clean when we checked in, the facilities were really cheap so that even cooking was a nightmare, the lights were so dim that you feel really uncomfortable at night etc.

The area is also not really nice as for me.

So if you're planning to stay for a couple of days, it's ok. If you're planning to stay there for more than 5 you will be really uncomfortable there.

    Response from Deborah:

Nikita, i am very sorry you found a problem with getting oriented in both the site and location and within the apartment itself. The kitchen is new and fully equipped and none of our guests found a problem with cooking in it. We offer a 24hour service and when not on site can be easily reached by phone so saying that "The problem with this kind of business is that nobody there really cares about the people who come and go" cannot really be justified and we are very disappointed that you felt that way.

  • Apartment was very spacious and comfortable with all amenities (fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi). Very good location - food store is only 3 min away, and bus stop to Sliema or Valetta around 5 min walking. In around 10 minutes you can reach a waterfront with nice promenade for walking.
    Great value for money.

  • Deborah was a fantastic host, approving our stay with very short notice (a few hours!) and even came to pick us up and take us to the apartment. It was very large and modern with all the amenities we needed, and there was a property manager on site at all times to assist us with using the communal laundry and booking us a taxi to the wedding we were attending. When we arrived in Malta we found our previously booked accommodation had been cancelled, so we were extremely grateful that Deborah and her father were so good to us, taking us in at such short notice and making our stay in Malta a very comfortable one. Deborah was available via phone during our stay for anything we needed and was extremely friendly and prompt in getting back to us when we had questions.

Thank you Deborah and Raymond, we very much appreciate everything you did for us!

I am happy to host our beautiful block of family run apartments. I work hand in hand with my sister, Bernice and we always try our best to ensure our guests will have a pleasant stay with us. The greatest advantage of this line of work is that we get to experience different people with different personalities and cultures from all over the world. Most of the time there is somebody on-site. If not we can always be reached by phone or e-mail. Well if you have any queries regarding any of the apartments listed with us, do not hesitate to ask :) Thanks
