It was a nice house to stay in and I even had one entire house for myself for one of the nights I stayed! Would recomend this host, but you should probably not stay in Atlanta at all without a car.
I had a very good experience at backpackers Paradise. Due to the multiple houses Tim owns, he is not necessarily living at the house you are staying at, but he checks it at least once a day and is always open for hanging out. He is very helpful no matter if it concerns tourist information or rides. Everything is very flexible and relaxed especially check-in/out times.
The house was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washer and dryer to use for free. Downtown Atlanta was reachable easily via public transport. However, it was recommended to me not to use public transport once it gets dark. So if you want to go out make sure to take a cab.
Other visitors were a nice mix of travelers who only stayed a couple of days and people who needed a place to stay for a longer period of time.
Tim was very welcoming, helpful, and genuine. I felt at home and I would certainly go back if I were in Atlanta again.
Tim was super accommodating, especially considering I arrived for "check-in" at 2am.
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a great host. Highly recommended!

I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own b&b. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost 15 years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about AirBNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have five properties close to downtown Atlanta three in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car.
