Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Loretta was a very kind hostess and she made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. We were both very busy while I was staying there, but Loretta was friendly and helpful during the times that we shared together. The room had everything I needed, however I would advise if you are a light sleeper to see if one of her other rooms are available as this one is right next to the kitchen/living area and so you may find yourself disrupted when sleeping.

  • I thouroughly enjoyed my stay in Brighton East, the location next to the Park and only 10 mins from the beach is superb. Hosted by Loretto and her Son,they couldnt do enough for me enven providing a PC for my room. This house is just a little run down but the hospitality of the Hosts made up for it in spades!

  • Loretta is a kind host who cooked the dinner for me on the night I arrived and gave her Myki card to travel to Melbourne by train. Her son is genuinely interested in sharing knowledge and experience, and made my stay at her place thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely stay there on my next visit to Melbourne.

  • Positive: Comfortable room, quite and nice area, friendly family.

Concerns: long walk to public transports and supermarket. Not always the cleanest place to be (but acceptable).

  • I have truly enjoyed my time in Melbourne. I had hoped to cycle for several weeks and Loretta kindly offered me a bicycle to use. She is a kind and generous hostess. I have found her home to be casual and comfortable and very accomodating to my needs. Thanks Loretta!
I hope to see you again in the future.
