We stayed from january to may at James appartement. It was really cool to stay there. James, even if he was some time far away, did everything to help us which was really appreciated. All was clean and the location was perfect. It is perfect for a couple but tight if you want to be 4 for more than a week.
We would have stayed longer if we could have.
My wife and I stayed at James' apartment over Christmas and New Years (2012 -2013). It was a wonderful stay. The apartment, while small, had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 week vacation. The bathroom and shower in particular were fantastic - just like a few of the reviews mentioned. The kitchen was small, but had an oven and stove that worked great and we were able to cook meals. It was nicely situated next to the Nationale Metro, plenty of rental bikes available and Place D'Italie just a 7 minute walk away for more metro lines. There is a delicious boulangerie, and many grocery stores as well near the place.
James was very responsive and left a clean apartment for us to enjoy. We highly recommend staying here.
I stayed there for one week. It is a very nice place, well located near Place d'Italie with easy access to three subway lines (5,6,7) and close to shops. The apartment is comfortable and functional. The host (James) is friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Apartment is small, but it's nice to have 2 rooms. Kitchen is tiny and not easy to cook in, but appliances are good. Shower is spacious, clean and well designed -- very rare in Paris apts in my experience. Also, everything was very clean when I arrived. Location is good; metro is a stone's throw from front door.
James is a good host, totally reliable and responsive. I only met him once, at the beginning of my month's stay, but after that he was available by phone and text and was very good about answering my questions. Also very nice about checkout, etc.
we enjoyed a lot the apartment and its location. We have to thank the bikes network because we made a lot of kilometers and we discovered a lot of hidden places thanks to it.
We felt very confortable during whole week. Very recommended place.
James' apartment was clean and right across the street from the metro stop. James was very friendly and met us there to give us the key. There was a bakery and grocery below the apartment which was very convenient for eating on our own. The bed was comfortable and larger than expected. The apartment was a bit outside many of the famous sites of Paris but with the metro being so close we still felt they were easily accessible.
