We had a brilliant time at Isabels place. Hearty welcome, lovely family, cuddly dog. We can really recommend to stay here and have a good time. You get "a million dollar view" out of this room, can even hear the ocean at nighttime. Me and my boyfriend will come back, that's for sure :-)
My husband and I had a great stay at Isabel's house. She lives in a beautiful, traditional Basque house with a lot of charm located right next to the beach. We loved hearing the waves from our bedroom window. Isabel is very sweet and accommodating. I sprained my ankle while walking around Getxo, and Isabel called the pharmacy for me to get an ankle brace. Getxo is a lovely town with restaurants and beaches. There is easy access to the metro, so we visited Bilbao as well. Isabel cooks a great breakfast every morning, and her dog is very sweet. I highly recommend Isabel's house!!
Isabel is a nice and friendly person. Answers and requests prior to arrival were answered promptly. The room was nice and well-suited for me. Individual requests and problems were no problem. Overall, I had a nice stay at Isabel's house.
Isabel is a great host - attentive and kind. My girlfriend and I felt most welcome at her home, were served nice breakfast in the garden, enjoyed a company of Isabel's most friendly dog Kira (the dog can be locked in, so you don't have to meet her, if you prefer). We stayed over 2 nights in a simple room with 2 separate beds in the house situated on the hill. From here you can enjoy stunning views of ocean and sunset. As we travelled with a car, we took a 20+ km trip to Bilbao as well. I could have used a recommendation for a local restaurant, and I am not sure if travelling without a car the house would be easy to find, but I am sure Isabel would help with directions as she speaks good English (rarity in Spain)
