About This Listing
My bungalow style house is available throughout most of June as posted on the calendar and I also have a very comfortable apartment downstairs with a separate entrance available throughout the spring and summer. The house is very comfortable & cozy- 5min from downtown and located in a nice neighborhood, a block from shopping, restaurants, yoga, movie theatre and a great café - 9th and 9th area.
I am willing to negotiate a lower rate for longer stays (over a week).
I am 25 miles from all ski resorts incl. Park City, Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.
Feel free to contact me and I can tell you more.
Two night minimum please. Pets are allowed but I would like to talk to you about your pet beforehand. No smoking in the house but outside is fine by me.
Suzanne's home was very comfortable during my six night stay. I was by myself so the two bedrooms were more than enough space. The home very close to a grocery store which made things really convenient, and the drive downtown or to ski resorts was very simple. It was a typical home with everything you would need including wifi and a washer/dryer, though I didn't utilize the washer/dryer during my stay.
I really appreciated the welcome pack and instructions as well.
Me, my sis and my mom were spending Christmas in Salt Lake and were looking for a cosy place to have our celebration. Suzanne's place gave us the feeling of being comfortable, at home, and a special Christmas to remember.
The house is well located, not far from the city center, and with a supermarket just one block away from it.
Although we did not get to know Suzanne personally, she was always very friendly and helpful with any doubts we had.
We totally recommend it!!
Great! My friend and I only stayed for one night, but the place was super clean, comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located. Communication with Suzi was very clear and easy to get the logistics squared away. Highly recommended!
Suzi's house was a wonderful landing place in SLC. It's centrally located, near great restaurants and parks, and only 15 minutes from airport. We were in town to look for housing ourselves as we are moving to SLC in June. The house, although small, had plenty of room for us and two daughters (5 and 3). We slept in the bedroom with the queen and the girls shared the bedroom with the full. The house is clean and cozy and we took advantage of the full kitchen to save some money rather than eat out for every meal. And at $80, it's much less expensive than a decent hotel. Our favorite room was the smallest in the house - a little nook with a split couch, perfect for a glass of wine after the kids went to bed.
Suzi was a wonderful host - even though she wasn't there - leaving us great instructions, a welcoming treat, and was flexible on her return when our daughter was sick on the last morning and needed a little extra time to sleep in.
We are recommending it to all our friends in town for when they have company and might even come back when we live in SLC when we need a little "staycation"!
A great bungalow near downtown Salt Lake City. The house is less than a 30 minute drive to Alta/Snowbird and Brighton/Solitude. Although the snow was not the best during our visit, the trip was great. The house was perfect to accommodate my wife and I plus a good friend of ours and our two dogs. This was my first experience with airbnb, and it was better than expected.
I chose Suzanne's property because her decorative style was similar to our own and since we weren't staying in a city we knew at all, I was trying to minimize the overwhelm for my two 8-year-olds. The location was appealing as we were longing to take walks and stay out of our cars and her home is very central to not only the groovy and organic, but the attractions like the zoo and The Gateway and not far to the light rail, or to the aquarium and dinosaur museum. Though on a fairly large roadway, it was not hard to sleep a little later than usual and way better than trying to accommodate four different people's waking schedules in one room like a hotel. Neighbors on either side were quiet too and it would have been very easy to just hang out as it seems quite peaceful all day. Suzanne was prompt in setting things up and delivered what was promised. It felt like a friend's home.

About the Host, Suzanne
I work in radio journalism and education... and often blend the two promoting digital storytelling and youth media in the classroom with an organization called SHIFT. I like to bike and hike and sip on wine with friends. I am somewhere between really organized and carefree.
