Please leave shoes outside, or use the outdoor shower coming from the beach. Trying to keep the beach out of the house:)
There is so much I can say about our stay, I will start with a heartfelt thank you. Everyone in the house was always so kind and accommodating. Even though most of our time was spent exploring the island, the time we did have at the house was amazing! Upon booking the trip I was a bit nervous only because I was traveling with my 13 y.o. daughter and her best friend, however all reservations were diminished after seeing both host and guests pulling out all the stops to make the girls laugh and feel at home. We all really enjoyed meeting new people and sharing within the house the experiences of the day. Although kite-boarding wasn't apart of our adventure this is without a doubt the place I'd come to learn! All instructors were knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide their students with the best experience possible! Thank you Foz for making us feel at home and maintaining a beautiful house. ( The girls wanted me to tell you they said " Hi ") And thank you Christo for the opportunity, you have an amazing place and I look forward to seeing you again!
Host Christo and his fellow country man were great (sorry his name was unusual and I forgot).
When I arrived very late they were still up and even fed me dinner after my long trip there.
The Kite House was cozy, the guest welcoming and it was clean.
Most people were there to kite board which was kind of exciting as a bystander.
A great way to travel alone and not feel alone.
The house is in a regular neighborhood with a very natural pine tree and dune surroundings, it's quiet and it has a nice deck to sit outside.
A great place to stay for the money.
Will be back.
Staying with the Kite Club was fantastic. The room was comfy and the people were easy to get along with. Our kite surfing guide, Graham, gave us an excellent lesson. Can't wait to go back.
Very cool place, we had a great time and were treated very well indeed. Christo and his staff keep a clean house, and the atmosphere was always congenial. Highly recommendable
I rent a shared room but for few days I have been upgraded by Christos in a single room for no extra charges. Thanks Christos! :) Beautiful, spacious, neat and nicely located place. I loved it.
Christos, his girlfriend and friends are a fun and interesting crew.
When we arrived at the Kite Club Hatteras, Christo came out of one the house to welcome us. He introduced us to some others and invited us directly to eat dinner with him as heute just finished cooking.
Our room and the kitchen/living room area was neat and clean, fresh towels and clean sheets prepared and the bed made. It was exactley as described.
The Kite Club itself has a perfect location and we wish we could habe stayed longer.
Thank you, Christo, I'd definetly come back!
Great overall experience. Christo made sure our room was ready and that we got in ok. The room was nice as were the other people staying there. I'd gladly stay there again.

About the Host, Christo
Christo has been kiteboarding for over nine years. He has ridden and taught in the US (North Carolina and California) – as well as in some great spots around the world, including Bulgaria, Spain, Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico and Peru – but he will be the first to reassure you that the best wind for kiteboarding is at Cape Hatteras. This is why he started thinking about opening a kiteboarding school on the island as far back as 2008, and has now set up Kite Club Hatteras as an official school in Cape Hatteras. Christo has a proven record of taking students to the best and safest spots on the island and providing them with a complete kiteboarding learning experience, taking beginners from the basics to becoming independent riders. Christo was a self-taught rider and uses his personal learning experience alongside his professional training to decrease your learning curve and increase your fun.
