If you want to spend your holiday with your loved ones, our detached villa with four rooms may offer a great base for exploring the treasures of the city.

The Space

Our typical Turkish historical detached house is located only a few minutes away from the heart of the town; Taksim square. Its perfect location allows easy movement without having to take the subway or other means of transport.

Combining in itself the historical and the modern, centrality and periphery, our villa is just like the city of Istanbul itself. A historical house nearly 100 years old has been renovated into a modern, cozy atmosphere that you will notice immediately upon entering... Located only a couple of minutes away from the famous Taksim square, but in a traditional neighborhood... Just like the city bridging continents, our villa combines the different senses of Istanbul and that is exactly what I love both about the villa and the city!

You will have two double beds & two single beds in the bedrooms (that can be merged as a double bed), and two independent sofas in the living room. One spare single ground bed will also be ready for you. So, six people can sleep in independent bedrooms and three in the living room. But if you are traveling with a big group, please consider that the villa has only one bathroom. And if you are traveling with a really large group, you may consider having the villa together with the Pink House or the Historical House, both of which you can find the listings at my dashboard.

The house has all kind of amenities you may need, including air conditioner in each and every room, refrigerator, water heater, French press, kettle, toaster, LCD TV, media player and even sound system. And it is a very safe house with iron fences surrounding the gate and the windows.

Side by side the newly built hotels, the villa is located on a busy street called Turan, full of markets, delicatessen, laundry, pharmacy and butcher, all small stores, but they sell everything you may need, so you will not need to travel to some other districts for your daily needs.

As a traditional neighborhood, be prepared to find some level of noise at the street, as the residents use the street like their own home. You may like this, as it is quite an experience that you can find in no museums, mosques or any other touristic attractions. But if you dislike noise, you can always shut the windows, open the air conditioner and listen to your favorite music with 5+1 sound system and feel like you are at home enjoying your wine or coffee in front of the fabulous fireplace.

If you need a separate, large, typical Turkish house close to the main attractions of the city, our villa might be ideal for you.

Hope you will like our beloved city and have fantastic time!

  • Asli was an absolutely fantastic host, she supplied us with very personal attention and lots of local information on places to eat and things to see and do, although you are never short of those in Istanbul! The apartment is lovely as well much bigger than I expected and very comfortable, it's not too hot and has great AC and big windows, it's very central and in a pretty busy area in Taksim Square but it's a brilliant location to see the City in my opinion. The apartment was clean and tidy and I thought the beds were comfortable too the art was also really great and it had a really modern kitchen, lots of good little local shops and places to grab food around the immediate area even late night was also very useful. I would recommend the apartment to anyone and Asli as a host as well she honestly was so nice from day one, and very quick with her communications, her english is fluent and she was accommodating with everything we needed even though I told her the wrong times that we were arriving and leaving she was absolutely fine and just arranged to come and meet us a little earlier she could not have been any more helpful, thank you so much Asli!

  • The apartment was very clean and spacy but unfortunately only for 8 people (we booked it for 10). Special thanks to Asli, she was always there for us and helped with a million things (airport pick-up, special spots and recommendations).

    Response from Asli:

Thanks for your nice review Vahid! As I make explicit in the listing, we have two extra beds. As we agreed that 8 of your friends would stay at the villa, and the remaining at the Historical House, I did not get ready the extra beds for you. Wish you told me you needed them, though I always warn my guests having big groups about the composition and the single bathroom. Anyway, sincerely it was great to get to know you and many thanks for your kindness and understanding!

  • We went to the villa for 4 days. We were 6.
Asli is a really nice host. She came to pick us at the bus stop and welcomed us with loukroum. That was really a warm welcome.

The villa is located in a popular district so it is nice to feel "local". The downside is there is noise on the street till 11~12pm. The description of the villa was accurate. It was relaxing having a tea and listening to the music from the 5.1 sound system after a day of visit.

It was easy to go to the old town by metro or funicular from the villa. It took us about 20 minutes. Walking is a perfect choice as there is a predestrian street near by.

I recommand greatly this place to you.

  • Very nice villa in a separate building, which is located in a quiet street in a few minutes from Taksim square. Just near the to the Villa there are shops where you can buy necessary things. Villa is very comfortable with pleasant atmosphere and energy, very clean, there are all necessary items inside of villa. Mistress of villa - Asli - is incredibly hospitable, friendly and charming. She greeted us very warmly, treating turkish delight and told us about the places we can visit during our vacation. She is always ready to help if you have any questions. If you want to know what is hospitality and warm evening in the cozy Villa after a day exploring the city - highly recommend this place!

  • The house was exactly what we were looking for, a cozy living room, 3 very comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. There was 5 of us and we were very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels, shampoo and soap, so you can really travel light.

Asli and her partner are great hosts. We felt at home the minute we got there. We were leaving Istanbul at 9pm on a Sunday, so they let us keep our luggage in one of the rooms, they even let us sleep off the heavy weekend before leaving. And if ever you have a question just call or email Asli, it's just a matter of minutes that everything is resolved.

It's a 4 minute walk from Taksim Square. We used a taxi maybe only once, and that is because it was raining.

    Highly recommend this place.

  • The house is exactly as described and the pictures are great. It was a bit hard for our cab driver to find but Asli welcomed us right when we arrived and answered the cab drivers call right away. She even arranged a private drive for us! Also, she is very kind and glad to answer any questions before and during our journey. She responds to emails very quickly and is such a wonderful host. Also, the house is right by Taxim square and all the night life. There are great places to eat within walking distance. I recommend this house without hesitation.
