This listing is for Room # 2 at The Isis Oasis Lodge, The Goddess Sekhmet Room. Sekhmet was the ancient Egyptian Lion Goddess of Power. For photographs of the entire Lodge, please take a look at my listing titled 'The Isis Oasis Lodge.'
The 12 room Isis Oasis Lodge is a unique place to stay if you are visiting the wine country and want to have a spiritual experience. Drive in to our retreat center and park at the office. There you will see a small ornate Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis. You may enter and offer a prayer while honoring the four directions. Get your room keys in the office off the spacious dining pavilion. Then you can drive up a hill where you will find the Lodge. Park behind this edifice and enter this historic building built circa 1932. None of the rooms have a private bath, TV, or air conditioning, however the lodge always stays cool. Each room is designed to reflect a different Egyptian Goddess and holds a description of the attributes she represents. All have ceiling fans, exotic netting over the beds, and artifacts representing each particular Goddess within. You can enjoy the safari lounge with fireplace that overlooks the sparkling swimming pool just outside the lodge within a secluded garden. There is a hot spa and a sauna as well as a wood burning oven in this area. Upstairs in the lodge is one gigantic room with a rug on one side where you might like to do some yoga, or watch TV. If you need to stay connected, the entire Lodge has free wireless internet. There is also a ping pong table and pool table for your enjoyment. The lodge has two dorm style bathrooms, one for women and one for men. The upstairs has more bathrooms plus a spa tub room.
There are fine dining options within walking distance from The Isis Oasis Lodge e.g. 'Catelli's Italian Restaurant', 'Diavola Pizzeria.' Additionally, there is 'The Geyserville Mud' coffee and pastry shop, which is a popular spot, and 'The Hoffman House Restaurant' on the north end of town, which is a terrific spot for breakfast. We are close to many renowned wineries (Francis Ford Coppola, Trentadue, Trione, Geyser Peak, Clos Du Bois etc.), and the Russian River is within a short walking distance for kayaking/canoeing. Lake Sonoma is about 6 miles away, and is a popular spot for boating and hiking. Additionally, River Rock Casino is a 5 mile drive away. If you are coming as a couple or individual, you will find Isis Oasis Lodge a refreshing change from the everyday hotel or motel. Please come and visit the unique...Isis Oasis Lodge. You don't have to travel far to be in a whole other world, time and place!
**Note: If you're coming as a group, multiple rooms can be rented out simultaneously OR, the entire Lodge can be rented out for large groups/events. Check out my other listings. Also note that if other rooms in the Lodge are rented, then, you'll be sharing the facilities/amenities with other guests. I also have other rentals on my property e.g. a secluded cottage for couples 'The Cabernet Cabin.' Again, check out all my other listings! **

What an amazing experience! Wanted something affordable to take the company to for the weekend in wine country. We were bummed to miss out on canoeing the Russian River due to all the rain recently. However, the Slumber Party room was the perfect light at the end of the tunnel. Ping pong and pool upstairs along with incredible grounds. The cats, birds and other animals make this a completely unique experience unlike anything the team has been to before.
We'll definitely be back in the future!
Our trip was absolutely perfect. After our trip my friend said we should leave as many positive reviews as possible so that everyone will know how awesome isis oasis is!
Hobbit hut was not available.
This was a very cool place. I wasn't sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and clean and the pool and jacuzzi were amazing.
It is a communal bathroom with one shower, so just be prepared for that. Depending on who is staying in the rooms, it can be loud. I felt like I was back at summer camp, so it was fun for me and my 2 girlfriends.
I would definitely stay here again!
The Isis Oasis, Loreon, and staff were simply wonderful. The resort is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed, certainly a million miles away from convention—with yelping parrots and emus and purring bobcats, splayed peacocks, and little egyptian-themed temples sprinkled across the grounds. It reminds me of a South American eco-lodge with its charming quirks tempered with all the comfortable amenities--pool, hot tub, fire pits (gas and wood) etc. The Slumber Party Room was plenty large enough to accommodate our group of 15 and we made good use of their commercial kitchen. This place was perfect for a large group and for celebrating my bro's birthday in unique Sonoma style. Lot's of little nooks to explore and spread out, too.
I will definitely be coming back here for more weekend decompressions.
We had a great weekend away in the Hobbit Hut! It was very cozy and stayed warm inside the hut, and the outdoor fire chiminea was a great addition to the "in the woods" experience. Miguel is great - very friendly & happy to show you around, or just let you enjoy the grounds as you wish. The hot tub was the perfect way to enjoy the stars! The birds and animals on the property add a uniqueness to the place that you won't find anywhere else. Geyserville is a quaint little town with very lovely people (good coffee, great food, and plenty of wine to taste!) Overall it was a nice and rejuvenating weekend - we'll happily book the Hut again in the near future.
The privacy of the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Plus the sanctuary made it a very unique and wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying here!
We were looking for a comfy getaway. This adorable, rustic cottage really did the trick.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Miguel gave us a tour and introduced us to some of the birds and cats.
Already looking forward to another opportunity to book a trip here.
Loreon and Miguel were delightful hosts! I planned a surprise Valentines weekend for my boyfriend, and couldn't have asked for a more memorable experience. We loved the exotic sanctuary tour, walking the labyrinth, singing and dancing to a concert at the temple, and really loved the giant 600-year old Russian Fir tree! We also went wine tasting around and took a trip out to the Harbin Hot Springs an hour away. Thanks for an incredible weekend! I'm thinking about taking my family here next time :)
