I agree with the prior review. The apartment is fine, the location is great, but the landlord is horrible. By the end of my stay I had to get my attorney involved as Mike was texting me daily stating he would be showing the apartment in 30 min to 1 hour - giving no notice nor an opportunity to secure my belongings. Nor would he accompany the agents or individuals - he would just send them to the apartment and send me a text telling me to let them in. Airbnb got involved and informed him that he was required by New York City Ordinance to give me 24 hrs notice before showing the apartment.
In addition, Mike states the apartment is "Fully Furnished" which it is not. He provided only one set of sheets, a blanket, and 2 bath towels. After several complaints, Mike finally provided additional blankets and another set of sheets. Kitchen utensils are sparse and extremely cheap - garage- sale type items. During my stay I had to purchase: wash clothes, hand towels, DISH towels, additional bath towels, and a skillet.
Mike did not meet me upon my arrival but rather left the key at a newstand nearby. The day of my arrival the linens were filthy with long black hairs in them. Same with the bathroom. My advice - AVOID GIVING THIS GUY MONEY AT ALL COSTS
