The Space

The apartment has 5 bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 people.
It is furnished with fully equipped kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and washer/drier for our guests to share and each room has a small refrigerator.

The apartment has a large balcony overlooking Laugavegur, the main shopping street
Bars, cafés, restaurants, museums and shops are just outside the door since the apartment is right in the city center and for the young and frisky, there is also the Icelandic nightlife at the doorstep

Free wireless internet connection

Since we have 5 bedrooms in one large apartment that can sleep up to 16 people all together this is very convenient for groups. If you are more than 16 we have an apartment on the next floor that can sleep up to 8 people
Please contact me for that option

Guest Access

The address is Bankastræti 14, there is a B14 sign in the window (you will see Subway and Deli pizzeria on the ground floor and a hair saloon on the first floor and the main door is the same as up to the hair saloon.)
To make it easier for you to check in when you arrive, all the doors up to the apartment have digital code door locks. You will get the numbers when you book your stay

The Fly bus company Reykjavik Excursions can drop you off and pick you up to and from the airport. They also offer great selection of day tours

Interaction with Guests

I am always available if the guests need anything.

The Neighborhood

For those who are in awe of the beautiful Icelandic nature, the ocean is fairly close by, with a great shore where you can stroll whilst enjoying the view. There are also numerous hiking paths and other places of interest relatively close by if you have access to a car.

Getting Around

If you are renting a car (you only need one if you are planning a trip out of town) there is public parking everywhere. Charging hours vary between zones but are usually from 9-18 Monday to Saturday, free on Sundays. Multi storey car parks are the cheapest option and can be found very close by. They are open from 7-24 every day

One of the main hubs for public buses, Lækjartorg is only few minutes walk away

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Hope to see you soon

Other Things to Note

If you are traveler from US or Canada you can call me but you can NOT send text message, I will not get it, just send me message trough email, airbnb or the company you booked with, but if you are from Europe text messages work just fine.
