NOTE: No Cats live in the apartment. The photo with the cat when a friend with cat was visiting (over a year ago).
Daniel asked to cancel our reservation 3 days before our arrival. To his credit, he did say that he would find another place to stay if we couldn't change our plans.
We decided to book another place an asked Daniel to cancel the reservation so that we could book elsewhere (and not be charged the AirBnB service charge). Nothing. No word. No communication in response to a phone call, an email and a text.
I ultimately connected with someone at AirBnB who took care of the issue for us right away.
The change in plans wasn't a big deal – the lack of communication was what made this a stressful situation.
Daniel’s flat is fantastic and very beautiful! There is a splendid wooden floor and the living room is very comfortable. The street is quiet and the view is beautiful. The bedroom is big and nice. The bathroom and kitchen offer all the necessary comfort. You will feel good in this flat. It’s quiet and very bright. The area is perfect and the subway is very near. I would go back with pleasure in this flat and to New York that I so much loved !!
Daniel was very helpful and the apartment lived up to the billing.
After a slight scheduling conflict everything worked out perfectly. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, it has the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on in my entire life. I would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who wants a great location in Manhattan.
just back from an extremely uncomplicated and enjoyable experience in this apartment! The location is fantastic - a lovely tree-lined street was a nice surprise, all necessary shops, restaurants and bars as well as the subway just around the corner. Uptown or downtown - you're right in the middle.
The apartment itself is very large and the air conditioning was an added plus during a heat wave. Kitchen is small but useful, bathroom fine but not great. The extra office room was an added plus.
Didn't meet Daniel but a kind and helpful friend let us in and helped us get settled. Daniel even left his computer for us to use which was nice for looking up events. All emails answered promptly, totally easy - hope to be back in a year or so to this great Chelsea spot!
Staying at Daniel's place was great. The apt. is perfect, in a quiet place with a fantastic ubication. The falt is clean and cozy, perfect for a couple. The subway is very near, but you also can go walking everywhere (just 20 minutes to times square). We were surprised by how near everything was. The bed was very comfortable, and so was the sofa. The apt. has everything necessary, even wifi and air-conditioning, wich is fantastic on hot days. There are also many places to eat, or buy food, nearby.
At the time we arrive, Daniel told us everything we neaded to know about the neighborhood and the house. Daniel is a kind person willing to help you in every moment. He is a bit difficult to contact with at first, but he is a very nice person with an ideal place. It really worth it.

The apartment is wonderful and the location is perfect, few blocks from the meatpacking district, greenwich village, madison square garden and walking distance from the Empire State Building. The queen sized bed is very comfortable, there's an (automatic) inflatable mattress and, in case, the couch is big enough to be used as a bed.
Daniel was very friendly: He showed us the apartment and gave us some tips about the neighborhood. It had been a bit difficult to contact him via email the days before our arrival to agree on a meeting time. Probably contacting him via phone is the best way to go, since he might be travelling.
