Lifen & Dan
I was in Rhode Island for a course at the Poliquin World HQ and let me say that this place was fantastic! Lifen and Dan are very nice and genuine people who make a great effort to make you feel at home. They're very helpful and I enjoyed conversations with them. I was feeling a bit homesick but chatting and having a laugh with them made it go away!
They're home is beatiful and the cooking facilities are awesome. There's all the equipment and spices you need. They have a water filter on their fridge so you'll be drinking clean and fresh water! On top of that the surroundings are great too. I enjoyed a relaxing walk in the woods and the air was so refreshing! The neighborhood is also very quiet so sleeping won't be a problem here. I don't usually sleep too well when travelling but this was exactly the opposite!
I will definitely come back here next time I'm coming to RI. I highly recommend this place to everyone! I hear it's even better in the summer. ;)
We only spent one night with Lifen and Dan but we will definitely return. Their home is simply beautiful inside and out. Pictures on the web do not do justice to this lovely home filled with interesting pieces of art, furniture and lovely flowers....and they take care to make your stay enjoyable. The home is exceptionally clean and tour bed was very comfortable. I love to cook and hope to get a chance to use the kitchen on our return....Lifen has every kitchen appliance and a wide range of spices and she loves sharing her knowledge of cooking....Dan brews beer and he does it with precision and flair..We did not get a chance to use their canoes and we would like to try the rails to trails biking nearby. .Don't miss this couple with their wonderful home...
This was our first Airbnb experience and we really enjoyed it. Our stay with Lifen and Dan was comfortable, friendly and fun. We were made to feel very welcome in their home and enjoyed conversations with them and other guests about travel, life and gardening. (The garden is gorgeous.) The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed canoeing on the lake and our adventures in the area. Jill and Peter
I highly reccommend this lovely place by a beautiful lake. My hosts were a delight to get to know and I hope we meet again. A great place to fish, canoe, hike, relax, meditate. You may reserve this place in full confidence you will have a great stay.
It was really wonderful experience to host in Lifen and Dan 's home. They are very kind and warm. The room is comfortable and the outdoor is so quite and beautiful. I enjoyed to stay together with them. And they always give your necessary help for your requirement. I will select to host there for my next trip absolutely.
Lifen & Dan are great hosts. They gave us great tips on places to visit and places to dine. Their house is beautifully kept and maintained. The room was cozy and had all the elements of "home". We thought having no TV would be a downer, but an escape from all of that is just what we needed. Coventry is such a lovely town , and we were able to drive 1 hour to Boston and just about 20 minutes to other areas of Rhode Island. I would highly recommend staying at this Lake house Retreat. It was snowing when we got there which made it very picturesque. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in the summer!
Dan and Lifen were very welcoming hosts. Their home is every bit as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. It is a great place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing home away from home experience.
We had a very nice stay at Dan and Lifen's. Their place is very conveniently located - it's easy to find and within driving distance of Providence and Newport. They have a nice place and were very friendly and helpful hosts. We'd definitely recommend their place.
Beautiful, quiet location. Well informed, friendly hosts. A very nice home away from home! (...and I'm from HAWAII!) Loved the lake and canoeing...
