Berlin Room Oriental Style P'Berg

Apartment - Private room · Metzer Straße, Berlin, Berlin 10405, Germany

The Space

Our room is located in a listed Wilhelminian style building which was built in 1878. It is located in Prenzlauer Berg (Kollwitzkiez) bordering Berlin downtown and is a great location to explore Berlin from.

You can walk to several attractions, for example Kollwitzplatz and the water tower, Bötzowviertel or even Alexanderplatz and its TV tower, the Berlin Cathedral, Karl Marx and Engel memorial and much more (if you really like walking). Public transport options are very close by. Prenzlauer Berg has lots of really great food. Our beautiful tree lined streets are home to plenty of quality restaurants, grocery stores (some of which are organic), specialty food stores, pubs and bars. You could stay for an entire month and still not try them all. There are also other mod cons - pharmacy, bank, coffee shops, ATMs, post office, boutique stores, live music, cinemas - all within easy walking distance (no more than 15 mins). Anything else you desire should be with a 20 minute radius if you take public transport.

You have public transport options at either end of Metzer St. At the far end (4 min walk) is the U-Bahn or more specifically the Senefelder Platz stop on the U2 line. The Metro M2 tram is the closest option being only 1-2 minutes from our front door. Both will get you to Alexanderplatz in under 10 minutes. Alexanderplatz is the closest hub and from here you have the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Metro (tram) and Bus network to get you to where ever you wish to go.

Note: The 5% city tax is paid on arrival, since any private host, vacation rental, hostel, hotel etc. in Berlin is expected to pay the tax on top of the final prize since January 2014, unfortunately we cannot get around that. For more information please refer to the federal state of Berlin website.

We look forward to meeting and hosting you!

  • The room is really cosy, great located! The whole apartment was clean and comfortable. There is everything you would need (including a cheap supermarket) nearby.

  • Prenzlauer Berg is a great neighborhood to be in, and this room in a clean and charming flat is quite perfect. The reception was warm and thoroughly informative, and it even included a list of restaurant recommendations (and there are many many great ones in this area). The kitchen is stocked with tools and some basics like dry pasta and bread. The U-Bahn and the tram are very close, and thus it is quite easy to get pretty much anywhere from Prenzlauer Berg. No reason to stay anywhere else in Berlin.

  • A lovely room in a flat with everything you need. The place is spotless, very quiet and in a perfect location (less than 5 minutes by metro to Alexanderplatz and a 5 minute walk from some great restaurants, cafes and bars). The room did seem a little cold compared to the rest of the flat, but as soon as the heating came on it heated up right away. There is map in the kitchen with lots of recommendations of places to eat which came in handy. Nice hosts that were happy to answer any questions we had about the area. We would definitely stay here again :)

  • The flat is amazing. Very clean, spatious, bright, organized. Claudia was very nice and gave us great tips about good restaurants in the neighborhood that we would have never found by ourselves. The location is very central and it's very easy to get to alexander and potsdamer platz. We only stayed for one night but it seemed like a quiet and very charming neighborhood. Will definitely be back next time I go to Berlin!

  • My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Project A Ang and overall we are quite happy. The room was big and tidy, the bed really confy, the bathroom clean. The only thing we found slightly unpleasant was the fact that being 8 people in the house at the same time inevitally we had to queue for the toilet and to shower. Particularly in the morning. Obviously it does depend on people (if you take a 30 minutes shower at 8 just like you were at your place... well....) but still I think that it should be clearly made sure at the moment of the booking. It says bathroom shared but numbers matter.
