Bright Private Room at Volkertmarkt

Apartment - Private room · Pazmanitengasse, Vienna, Vienna 1020, Austria

The Space

My apartment has plenty of space and is really bright. It's in the first floor. There's a small kitchen and a big bath room with a tub for two. Your bedroom is the guest room, has a futon (80x63"), a desk and a small shelf. The living room has a nice couch for you to hang out.
There's plenty of places to hang out, have a drink or go out for dinner, like directly on the Volkertmarkt, which offers multicultural experiences, also charming pubs around in the 2nd district. I could recommend some places when you're here.

The location is quite good for exploring Vienna by foot, what I recommend! The Augarten and Prater are quite near (5 and 10mins walk). You reach city centre by walking (Schwedenplatz 15mins). There's also the Underground U2 Taborstrasse (5mins) and the Tram 2 Heinestraße (3mins).
If you come from the airport the easiest and cheapest way is to take the S-Bahn directly to Praterstern, and from there it's a 8mins walk or take the bus 5B directly to the house (Volkertplatz).
From Wien West station you can take Tram 5 directly to "Am Tabor". From there it's just 3mins walk. Follow the signs to "Volkertmarkt".

Enjoy your temporary home!

  • I had a really nice stay at Ulrich's spacious apartment in Vienna. As a host he's very helpful, friendly and relaxed to be around. I very much enjoyed my time there and I will definitely be back. Oh yeah, and the bed in the guest room makes you sleep like a baby!

  • Ulrich's place is in a great neighborhood itself right by Volkertmarkt, and easy access from the main train station and the sights to see. Ulrich himself is an intellectual and an artist -- like me -- and a kind and gentle spirit. I would stay there again. Also, the flat has everything, and is tidy and neat. I would move in if I could! Best wishes to all who get to stay at Ulrich's place.

  • Wow. Vienna is a cool place with a lot of things to do. Better in spring or summer time but also nice in winter. Perfect as services, it is a city where of course I will come back as soon as possible. The apartment where I stayed is very well located, just few minutes far walking to the Vienna hearth, big and well equipped. Room had the right space with a confortable bed, an helpful desk and a lovely calm atmosphere. Definetly I liked it. I saw Ulrich only when arrived, anyway I felt really confortable while talking with him and his friends. Good energy.

  • We spent some days in Vienna after the Christmas holidays craziness. Ulrich's apartment is very quiet and bright. The room is big enough for a double bed, a big desk and a storage for your clothes.
We only saw Ulrich the first night but he gave us enough tips to discover amazing places to eat and drink in the city.
The apartment is very well connected with tram, metro and train station at 10 min. max walking! That was one of the best points!
We definitely enjoyed our time there!

  • Ulrich was an excellent host, So kind, smart and so helpfull. We had pleasant conversations and he is very easy going. For examples, when I arrived he waited for me late (after midnight) and was very smiling and sympathetic, he let me use his computer for internet, prepare to me a city map, invited me to share his activities with his friends...
The appartment was a paradise for me, bright and a very good location, near subway and so easy to get the center by walk. I definitively recommand this host and If I come back to Vienna, sure this place is my first choice. Thank you so much Ulrich!
